Love these gel polishes

I’m loving Essie’s gel polishes. With reapplication of the top coat every 2/3 days, I find they last around 7-10 days before I need to take them off and reapply, which isn’t bad. I wear gloves to wash up, but baths and showers are their enemy!
Frost yourself is a sparkly, iridescent peachy pink with a slight purple undertone. It’s a great shade for spring/ summer.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Gorgeous sparkle, easy application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big fan of Essie products as they’re always high quality and contain a lot of pigment. While my pedicure is not featured (sorry, piggy pics aren’t flattering), my nails sparkle the second the light hits. And the two product system of paint and gel top coat have them in top shape DAYS later without a chip in sight. Would love to try a darker color in this line to see if that remains true with a heavily pigmented color.
Only complaint, smells SO bad. Reminds me of applying polish back in the early 00s. Not sure why we haven’t taken care of that yet to make it tolerable.

Good and bad in this one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start with the good, easy to apply, hardly chips. I painted my nails over a week ago and they’re barely chipped. And I’m not easy on my nails by any means. 4 stars for that alone. The step two also has the nails dry insanely fast.
The not so good. The smell is overpowering. I’m used to the smell of nail polish, but this is SO intense. I had to take a break between hands to close the bottle and get some fresh air. Secondly, the color comes out much more sheer than I anticipated/enjoyed. Had to put on three coats to *mostly* not be able to see my nails underneath. Which I didn’t like. Layering it over another color it could look cute.

Dries fast and stays on for at least 2 weeks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Essie Gel Couture Liquid Diamonds is my new favorite gel polish. In my picture you can see a fresh hand and a hand that’s been painted two weeks ago. I have a tough on the hands job so the fact that there is still polish left on my nails at all 2 weeks later is amazing. I can’t wait to try other colors. I also like that it comes off easier than the gel nail polish that requires a light to dry. Speaking of drying I did 4 coats of color and 1 top coat and it took less than 10 minutes to dry. It also doesn’t ruin your nails. No filing the top of your nail prior to painting. This is the best gel polish I’ve used. Recommended to everyone!!!

Beautiful shade

I was impressed by Essie gel nail polish as with the gel top coat it lasted almost a week but if I use it too often my nails starting to peel. I love the beautiful light pink color with diamond-duct finish. It iridescent blush pink shade with gold flip pearl. It looks very natural and chic. I like that there is no need to use UV lamp for this gel manicure. Of course it doesn’t look like gel nails but more like regular nail polish. Removal is very easy too with just acetone. It has normal liquid nail polish consistency and smells like nail polish but not too strong. Looks very shiny on the nails.

Long lasting and fast drying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was great, but it took trial and error for me to get it. You definitely are better off sticking with two coats rather than three you have to let each coat dry before you apply another one. The topcoat is seriously like magic. It dries immediately. Make sure to remove any excess oil from your fingernails before using. This was a very natural sheer polish. This would be great for special occasions or if you just want a long lasting polish. I will say the pigment is a little light on this so I may try three coats and let each one dry next time. I received this in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How pretty are these Gel by Essie called liquid diamonds nail polish. It comes in this really pretty light shimmer pink called Frost Yourself. It also came with a clear Essie Top Coat. There isn't a super strong scent. You really do not need to put a double coat of this gel nail polish. I only applied it once and put on a top coat. I felt it dried fast and the color lasts longer than you regular nail polish. I think its a great value when you do your nails at home with quality that last like this Gel polish. I would try this in other colors. This was really easy to use and I loved the color.

Long lasting frosty finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shade Frost Yourself is a pink-gold reflect with a slight yellow-pale green shift that dries quickly but with a matte frosted finish. A top coat is a must if you want the accompanying glossy gel shine for this particular shade. It is very thinly formulated, and 3- 4 thin layers are needed with full dry time between to reach opacity. I personally like a barely there appearance which is 2 coats. The fewer coats, the longer it lasts- with no top coat, 7 days chip free. The top coat however caused chipping within 3 days at the tip due to the thicker gelly layer that I think creates a polymer that can lift. I do like this formula and in general, the micro-sheen forumulations adhere to the nail well and dont chip and peel.

Gorgeous changing colors, fast drying and easy to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, love this twisty bottle! The polish is lovely, barely there with one coat, a little showier but still natural with two, and while I haven’t yet tried three, I bet it would just give a little extra sparkle. The colors are variable too - initially it seemed very pink to me, but in certain lights it is more peachy golden. Very pretty either way and it is fun to see how it changes. It had pretty average lasting power and was perfect the first few days before it started to chip. I do a lot of work with my hands so I would say it held up pretty well; the formula was fast drying which I love as I often smudge my fresh manicures. All around, a gorgeous polish, I always love Essie and look forward to trying more new shades.

My new favorite nail polish!

I apply two coats of color, finish with the top coat and a week later another top coat. My nails stay flawless for two weeks! The brushes in both bottles make application a breeze, covering my full nail bed easily, and drying time is super quick. The performance and results of this two step set are impressive. This is a great value compared to a salon or gel polish treatment, I’ll definitely be buying more colors!

Ideal color but doesn’t stay on long enough

The color isn’t over the top so it goes with lots of my outfits. The bottle is easy to hold and the brush makes painting nails a breeze. I find the polish chips after a couple days. I wish it stayed on longer. I find this color to be best on my fingers as it doesn’t show up enough on my toes and I tend to like bolder colors for pedicures. Overall this is a fun manicure shade though

Dried quick, pretty color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start by saying — I’m not great at painting my nails and don’t do it often. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this nail polish was to use! It applies smoothly and dries pretty quickly (a must for me).
The pink shade is beautifully shimmery and buildable — I used two coats for a more opaque look. The top coat really seals in the shimmer and leaves my nails looking smooth and glossy. Have that classic nail polish scent. Definitely recommend!

Not for adults in a corporate environment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not of fan of this polish collection because it is so sheer. I put three layers on and can still see my nails. In my opinion, it makes the polish and nails look cheap and unprofessional. I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing this in a work setting since it looks like a polish made for preteens. However, I did like the brush since application was super easy. It also dried pretty fast so I didn’t have to worry about doing tasks that wouldn’t mess up my nails.

A pretty pink but needs multiple coats

It's a pink sheer, polish with a fine shimmer.
The color is a very light pink but it has a beautiful shine. The only thing that was a slight pain was that I needed three coats to really have some color payoff. But once I got the right number of coats, I was happy with it!
It lasts quite a while if you use the gel top coat (step 2) with it so that I loved!

Gorgeous ethereal pink

It applies super easily and honestly was opaque enough that you could just use one coat for more of an ethereal vibe (I ended up doing two plus the Essie gel top coat). Best of all, they lasted a week before chipping! My photos are from day 3/4. This is awesome for a polish that doesn’t need uv setting. Will definitely be looking into getting other colors in the Gel by Essie line.

Dries fast!

At first I wasn't so sure because it was kinda watery, but I was very amazed on how fast it dries up and it last long. The only thing is I would buy in a darker shade. Too lite for my taste. Pretty! But chips still…

It does however still start to chip after about five days. It also definitely still feels like a standard nail polish, it’s not a thick shell like UV gel. I appreciate that the line has its own top coat, I can try some other shades now too. I love the color but overall it performs similarly to standard polishes

The color is a pearl shift— gold and pink. I’d prefer it if it was a blue or purple and pink shift. It’s still really pretty. The polish dries quickly and keeps a high shine! Super easy removal and it lasts at least 5 days on me without chipping. Love the wide brush too for easy and quick application.

I did 3 coats. It would probably look really pretty with a ballet pink bottom coat and then this as a topper as it’s pretty sheer. The application was great and the top coat dries so quick and really does create a gel like top coat. I’ve have it on for a couple of days now with no chips.

Great polish

It also has a shimmer to it, which makes look very chic. It was easy to put and the topcoat made it dry in seconds, which was so great. I have been wearing it for a week or so now and it still looks pretty good. I will even use this on my five-year-old daughter who loves nail polish.

Normal polishes take forever between coats but this one was quick and after I added the top coat, it felt very hard and done. The shimmer was beautiful. I really appreciated the fast drying time and the quality of the polish. Definitely a winner in my books. I only needed to do two coats but it if I wanted a more opaque look, I would do 3-4 coats.

I find after a week ( I washed a lot of dishes) it was starting to peel up, but other than that I haven’t had a problem and this coat is so pretty and shiny . It honestly reminds me of regular polish but just doesn’t chip. It’s very lightweight and again I LOVE how fast it drys !
