The color I received does not match the image next to the color, but nonetheless, it is a bright pink for spring! This nail polish applies super smoothly and dries really fast, making it easy to apply multiple coats without waiting a long time. It only needed two coats to fully cover my nail as it so pigmented! This polish lasted a couple weeks without chipping or wearing down which put it above regular polish and just a bit below UV gel polish in terms of length. It
definitely was worth it and I would purchase this polish over regular!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, Essie really did their thing with Pinky Ring. It’s the perfect everyday pink — soft, pretty, and not too bright or sheer. It looks super clean on the nails and gives that “put together but still chill” vibe.
The gel formula applies smooth, and with two coats plus the gel top coat, it lasted almost a full week with barely any chips. The shine is salon-level, no lie. Only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 is because it takes a bit to fully dry if you layer it too thick. But other than that, it’s a fave. Definitely keeping this one in rotation.

Amazing product

Lasted a lot longer than I had expected it to and I didn’t have chipping until 4 days after (most polishes I’ve tried, it’s within hours of application). I am super hard on my nails and always using sanitizer and washing dishes, so for this to last that long without any signs of wear was anbsolutely amazing. Can’t wait to try in other colors and hope to have the same result.

Holds up against hand sanitizer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product and the top coat free in exchange for my honest review. This was my first time trying this 2 step formula from Essie. Pinky Ring is a vibrant, cool toned Barbie pink. It did require 3 coats for full opacity. The top coat doesn't dry super fast, but does dry very shiny and is very durable. I work in a hospital, and have noticed that hand sanitizer causes quick dry top coats to peel around the edges and pop my manicures off, but this top coat doesn't have that problem in the slightest. I am very impressed by that aspect and feel I have found my optimal work top coat. Even without base coat (as the instructions recommend), the polish lasted around 5 work days, usually polish lasts me around 2 days. I will say that the formula seems thin, and is overall not very self leveling compared to other formulas of polish. Overall, I am very happy to add this polish to my rotation!

The pink color was bright and pretty. It had a smooth salon-like finish and the nail paint lasted for more than a week. I do dishes everyday with hands, but the nailpolish lasted really long which was impressive. I loved the overall quality of the nail polish.

I love the size of the bottle that’s just right for my liking. The nail polish applicator is very smooth and easy to apply on the nails. It’s a very quick drying nail polish. I really have to give my nails a second coat before applying the top coat for a glossy finish.

Fun color, ok formula

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Pinky Ring which is a cool blue pink, almost a Barbie pink, with the Essie couture gel topcoat. I found the formula of the polish to be on the thicker side. It is a semi-opaque cream polish and I used 2 thin coats of Pinky Ring. To get fully opaque coverage, I’d have to do a third coat—this was a real surprise as the formula is very thick and hard to apply as thin as I’d like. It’s relatively quick drying. I didn’t like that this was not fully opaque, and it’s a bit streaky with only one to two coats. I don’t think the finished look looks like gel even though I don’t do gel nails— the top coat is also quite thick and dries with a nice shine. There is nothing about the formula or performance/wear that really seems novel. The brush is wide, but not new either. The shape of the bottle, while pretty looking, doesn’t make sense in terms of storage space. The color is nice for spring and summer, but the opacity and thickness were a bummer.

It's called pinky ring and it is a Barbie pink, the brush is wide and a little on the shorter side and very flexible, so I feel like I have good control of the nail polish. It dried fairly quickly and I didn't have to wait too long to apply the top coat. It doesn't chip as easy, unless my hands are consistently wet.

I use regular Essie polish and my nails chip the next day, I can get my nails done and the gel chips less than a week. This polish holds up so well. My nails lasted over a week which is extremely rare. I’m very hard on my nails and this polish didn’t budge.

It was a little Cobain because it is a gel-like polish and i originally thought it was a gel polish. Despite the misconception, as a nail polish it dries fast and has a great finish. Drying time may vary, but I found it dried in a decent time. The polish lasted a few days before chipping (results may vary) but overall the product held up well. The Perfect Pink!
