This polish is super shiny and long lasting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Essie is a brand of nail polish that I have loved for a long time. This color, called Fuel Your Fire, is the exact shade I would choose in the summer months for my manicure. It is a cooler shade of pink that suits any skin tone. The coverage with one coat is impressive, but I always apply two coats for the best saturation of color. The scent is not strong for a nail polish. I found it dries faster than a lot of other brands. The shine is so impressive that my manicurist asked if I had applied a top coat, even though I had not. I found the polish did not chip easily even with frequent handwashing. The color lasted a week without touch-ups.

So Shiny and Long Lasting

I'm not the best at doing my own nails, and when I do them at home, they never really last long. I even have a UV light for gel nail polish, but that polish usually lasts me a day if I'm lucky. So I was skeptical when I received the Essie Gel Couture polish and top coat. This top coat is amazing! It dried in no time flat, and my nails lasted almost two weeks. I think if I were to have used dishwashing gloves, they would have lasted longer. Paired with the amazing color Fuel Your Life, my pink nails looked so cute! It goes on easily, and it lasts. My nails were shiny the entire time I wore the polish which never happens with other brands.

Rich color that lasts

The first picture was right after the manicure dried, and the second is two weeks later- which is pretty good, considering! I did not do as the Essie website says, because I didn’t reapply the topcoat 1 week in; I was already chipping (just a little tbh) and I was curious if the color would last without it. I’ll see if it does better with it! However, it did leave a significant stain after removal, which my thumb is still showing a week later. Otherwise it’s definitely a quality product!

Even though I am not the best at doing my nails, the formula went on smoothly and dried pretty quickly, which made the process a lot easier for me. I was excited to show it off, but unfortunately, my experience went downhill after I tried to remove it. The polish stained my nails, and no matter how much I used nail polish remover, there was still color left behind for days. It was such a pain to deal with, and that really ruined an otherwise nice polish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Essie’s Gel Couture nail polish in the shade “Dopamine Rush” is a beautiful teal-green color. It’s a bit bright for my everyday tastes but I really liked the formula so I ended up purchasing the same polish in 2 other colors. The polish was easy to apply but best part is how quickly it dries! I don’t have time to sit and wait 30min+ for my nails to dry. So many formulas claim to be “quick drying” but will still mess up over an hour later. I had no problems with this polish drying. It claims to last 14 days, with the top coat I was able to get ~7 days of wear, but I’m really hard on my nails so a week of chip-free wear is impressive. Overall I’d recommend Essie’s Gel Couture system, especially since I’ve already purchased more colors.

Love the color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After getting acrylics for over a year straight, I needed a break. My nails were brittle and splitting down the nail bed easily. This is the only top coat that makes my nails look and feel like gel polish for at least a week without retouching. Other top coats still allow my nails to split/break, but this one does not. Pros: dries quickly, evens out when applied, works with any color nail polish underneath, makes my nails look like I have gel polish on.

I was skeptical when I tried this. I work a lot with children and I work with my hands and a lot of times the nail polishes I use chip or don't go on smooth. This nail polish is amazing. Goes on very smooth and easy. Doesn't chip easy. The top coat makes it last forever.

Packaging is a standout among my nail polish bottles, i find the design unique. This color is perfect for summer but I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 because I’m expecting the shade to be more blue green but I find it to have more green than a balance of blue and green. Other than that, the durability is good especially if used with the top coat, it will make it more long lasting.

Stunning color

The brush provides the perfect application, allowing for a smooth application. The staying power is impressive. I painted my toenails before going into the office. I had two back to back 16 hour days wearing heels and walking a ton. I was shocked when I got home, as there wasn't even a chip in the polish. I will 100% be getting more colors. I'm hooked!

A wear anytime, any season color that is a rich pink/lavender color. I only needed two coats which went on easy and dried quickly. My nails even felt stronger! Salon like results at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pictures are of my nails seven days after I painted them with Essie’s dopamine rush and the gel couture top coat by Essie. The polish is a teal looking color with yellow undertones. I used two coats of color and one top coat. I was surprised by how well they stayed and how much it looked like I had gotten a manicure with gel. The polish also was dry in ten minutes. The thing that I don’t like about the gel polish is how hard it is to remove but this one removed with no effort and I used a non-acetone remover. I was very impressed with the results of this polish. I did not even need to touch it up before I removed it. I will definitely be letting everyone know about this amazing new formula by Essie. I also used the top coat with a different brand and I had close to the same result. I do recommend using the Essie polish with the top coat for the best results though.

The color lasted all week and did not chip

It had a slight odor, but it did go away after a little while. After I applied the topcoat, it was extremely shiny and it lasted all week. All in all, I was very pleased with it. It saved me a trip to the salon. I would definitely use again and purchase a different color.

Gorgeous Green Polish but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive this Essie Dopamine Rush Gel Polish from Influenster along with the top coat. I used it like I would a typical polish and while I have to get better at doing my nails, the color went on easily and I loved the color pay off. I applied a little more than two coats to get the depth of color I wanted before applying the top coat. Now, the polish didn’t come with instructions so the next part may be due to user error - I did have a little chipping within two days of use but didn’t try to remove the polish for several days because I really loved the color! When removing with nail polish, all of my nails were stained right cross the middle. I literally had to lightly buff my nails to remove it. I will use it again with the cuticle prep and following the instructions on the website this week to see if it eliminates chipping and stains but I really love this green!

Fast beautiful look

It took two layers to create a full coverage look but went on very smoothly and dried fast. The polish lasted 2 weeks and started growing out before it chipped. Removal was not as complicated as the instructions led me to believe. I would definitely use again. This green color was very complementary.

Not this stuff! I love Essie in general, but this—I get 10 days of wear out of this polish if applied with the top coat.

Who needs a nail salon?

I must admit I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the Polish and how well it just glides on and dries down so fast. It keeps your nails covered and shiny and the smell doesn’t carry a strong odor like gel or regular polishes. It’s compact packaging allows the convenience to bring for a touch up if traveling, love it!

This is one of the worst formulations of a nail polish I have tried. It is somehow both too runny and too tacky. It was impossible to apply. And good luck taking it off once you realize how horrible it is--the pigment WILL get stuck in your cuticles for days and defy any nail polish remover. I've tried other essie gel couture colors and didn't have this issue. TERRIBLE

Bright pink for festive nails

Only issue was I had to do 2 coats and then repaint the tops of my nails because even before the topcoat I could see my nails coming through, which meant it wasn't going to last , but after that the coverage was good!

The shine on this is super nice! The color is very pretty, I guess if you wanted to see if you would like the color you can look in stores. However, I would say the color is very accurate to the online picture but maybe a tad bit darker. It has that classic nail polish scent which doesn’t bother me. It goes on very smooth and the applicator is also very nice. For my pinky I can just do one swipe and be done. I did them pretty fast, and I think my nail lamp was the only problem and took a few tries to fully cure. I would still be careful with them for a few hours after doing them to make sure they fully harden. The packaging could be annoying although pretty if you are a nail tech because they don’t stack nicely next to eachother. Overall I enjoyed, thank you to Influenster for sending me them!

This is a long lasting color even without the topcoat there isn’t essence and the drying time is about a minute or so overall they knocked these colors and product out of the park for perfect beautiful nails.

Anyone looking for long-lasting and high-quality polish BUY THIS. I have been doing my own nails for years, so I have used almost every brand of polish you can buy. From experience, this line from Essie is the best I have ever used and I recommend it to everyone. If I could afford to buy every colour from this line I would do it. Lol.

It’s easy to remove with any nail polish remover but it’s also long lasting especially when paired with the Gel Couture Top Coat. It does have a strong nail polish scent but otherwise I love it!

Not a good shade for me
