Fantastic Long Lasting Nail Color!

I received the Gel Couture nail polish and top coat as a sample for reviewing purposes from PinchMe, but my opinions are completely unbiased. Not only does this color last around a week without chipping, but it also looks stunning...just like a professional manicure would. The finish is glossy, streak-free, and glamorous. The color is rich and deep. Even the applicator brush forms around the nail, and the buttery formula of the polish makes painting nails an effortless task. I highly recommend the gel couture line to ladies seeking a long-lasting and truly beautiful manicure.

Pinch Me Review: Okay, but there were some issues

I received this free from Pinch Me along with the top coat. The Caviar Bar shade applied well and dried quickly. Once the top coat was applied I noticed that it removed a good bit of the color coat which left my nails looking streaky, so even if the nails feel touch dry, I would wait longer. After two days I noticed some tip wear, after six days there was noticeable chipping, after 10 days I removed because most of it was gone. The top coat did make the polish shinny, but not more so than my regular top coat.
No, I do not recommend this product.

PINCH Me Review gel manicure

I loved the color I was sent ( take me to thread) and also the first and second day of the manicure, shiny and perfect. I was hoping that the gel would be a little stronger than normal store bought gel manicures, closer to a professional hardness and durability but after two days of moderate typing the tips wore away and the nail beds started to lift at the cuticle.. This would be great for a night out or vacation but not for everyday if you work with your hands typing or laboring or like to wear lotion.

I got a chance to try the caviar bar, a nice deep blue. After trying Essie's color couture nail polish I have to say I really liked it. The polish went on easily and smoothly. It dried quickly and the color was very bright and shiny. Even without the top coat. The only issue I had with it was that it began chipping off within a couple of days. That was with the top coat applied. The only thing I would like to see is for the polish to be stronger and chip not as soon.

super opaque but never dries

I bought this polish a while ago and i’ve tried it multiple times since. I really do love how intense this polish is and could even get away with just one coat! My only problem is the drying time; it takes ages to dry. Just the last time i used it I did two coats and allowed an hour to dry after each and they still ended up with little indents and smudges. Amazing polish if you allow for a LOT of dry time!

The color “caviar bar” should be a deep navy cream color and like all essie colors, should dry in a few minutes. The long wear gel couture colors take closer to 5 minutes to dry vs. the more classic nail enamels, which dry a little faster. I've used several of the other colors in this collection, but this was the only one that gave me problems. It was way too thick or something - had a consistency I didn't encounter with the others. I tried applying it 4 separate times and it was just a nightmare. Would not lay right, dried weirdly, got everywhere... And removing it was an ever bigger nightmare. Definitely disappointed.

I decided to try the complete set after only just purchasing the nail polish. That was the best decision I made bcz it gave a true professional finishing polish especially since I do my nails myself. It also last for a long time. The picture was taken 2 days short of TWO WEEKS of having it on!!! The ones I use to get done at the nail salon with UV light never even lasted that long

My daughter and are in love with this nail polish. I usually buy the inexpensive ones. I never thought any brand was better than another...until we tried this. Now, I am a horrible nail painter, but with this polish it looks like I went to the salon! I will pay the 11.. price to get this wonderful finished look!

I will be purchasing more colors in the future! Plus the color is so rich. The only downside is the price. $24 for the entire polish and top coat is steep.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm so in love with this color! It's a gorgeous shade and looks pretty as a base color for nail art. I really like that the gel polish isn't harsh like traditional gel polishes and it doesn't need UV light to cure. Make sure to get the top coat so it lasts longer.

It is a super dark blue! It almost looks black until you get out in the bright lights! The shine was unbelievable! It lasted me 7 days without a single scratch or chip! That is absolutely amazing! Super easy to apply by yourself and even easier to remove with regular nail polish remover.

First time trying Essie Gel Couture and I LOVE it! And this color is fantastic. Dark enough to go with anything, but not black, which is a little too goth for me. Perfect for the winter months. Normally I wear a true red or a hot pink, and this color might be my new go-to.

The brush shape and consistency of the polish helped it go on very easily. Caviar Bar has great opacity (I only used two coats) and lasted a solid week two with no top coat.

Perfect! Just perfect! I’ve been looking for so long for the right navy blue color!
It also dries real quick and stays on for very long time.
I applied two layers and then the top coat. I cant wait to try more colors!

I bought this last year to match a dress I wore to a wedding. It's a long-wearing polish that goes on easily, has a deep rich blue color and shines like glass. I've had numerous compliments on it. I wear it often. The extra cost is worthwhile.
