Helped my nails grow!

I have been trying to grow out my nails for such a long time but I have a habit of biting my nails so it felt impossible! This Essie hard to resist nail strengthener has really helped me to stop biting my nails and grow them out, I am so pleased.
The bottle itself is beautiful and comes fitted with a holographic sticked that really stands out in the light. The bottle contains 13.5ml and this lasts what feels like forever! The liquid inside the bottle looks a pinkish colour however it applies clear and gives your nails a lovely shine. I am over the moon with this mail strengthener and will continue to use it until I can get my nails as strong and long as I want.

Perfect for those with fragile nails

My nails used to be very hard and healthy but due to my health conditions they’ve became brittle and soft; they break easily and bend, which feels quite painful. I’ve used Essie nail strengthener for several weeks and I can already feel difference. My nails don’t bend anymore and they have chance to grow a little without me having to constantly cut them to keep them short. I’m not a fan of false nails so for me being able to keep my nails in a good condition, whilst making them slightly longer, is quite a relief. I’m now a firm user of this product to keep my nails in good shape and I can happily recommend this nail strengthening product to anyone who’s nails are fragile.

Iv been using this product a few week now, must say I am Impressed. I usally wear artificial nails, so my were very weak an brittle. I found it fast drying, long lasting and I love the shine tint on my nails. Most of all, it has helped to improve the condition of my nails.

Quick drying!

I used this a month after removing gel polish from my nails in a home that they would feel better after.
The polish dries quite quickly which is a big bonus.
I was hoping for a pink tinge but there wasn’t really one-I applied two coats to try and achieve this and still no pink tinge, but was left with a nice shiny coat on my nails.
It lasted right until my shower the second day where it started to peel off, which is disappointing-I think that whilst wearing this my nails did feel a little protected but to keep them like that, in reality would need to reapply every other day!

I am so impressed with this!
Not only does it actually work and makes my nails just so much tougher, it also gives a lovely pink tint to my nails. I have very thin nails and bleeds underneath if I use any nail polish but can tolerate it now! And that after 2 weeks only!It also stays on for at least 1.5 weeks. Result!

Strengthened, healthy nails.

The product in the bottle has a deep raspberry tint but when applied to my nails it looks almost clear. Straightforward to use and apply, it dries quickly and gives nails a really nice subtle glossy finish. Nails appear enhanced and healthy, and have definitely been stronger and protected. My hands take quite a bit of abuse on a daily basis, thanks to my work, and my nails regularly break or get damaged. I have been wearing this every day for a week or so and have only lost the tip of one nail, so I have noticed a real improvement. I also like that it strengthens my nails without making them feel hard or rigid, they still have a little bit of flexibility.

Being a house wife I am always occupied with house chores doing cooking, cleaning laundry and dishes specially which affects my hands and nails..they have become very rough..flaky and brittle nails are too common in this weather specially..I got this nail strengthener 2 weeks ago and applied 2 coats..I can tell they look quite smooth and healthy unlike before..feels strong too..i like this color it looks more natural

Does the job brilliantly

I really like this nail strengthening nail polish by Essie. I’ve been using it for around 2 weeks now and it has done my nails the world of good. Especially recently because of the current pandemic that the world is going through, I’m having to wash my hands a lot more which caused my nails to be brittle and soft. This nail polish has helped so much. My nails seem much stronger now and I’m definitely going to continue to use this product. Once applied it gives you’re nails a lovely shine and is has a slight tint of pink in it. Not too much that it’s really noticeable. It’s really easy to apply, and sets in a reasonable time too. It didn’t chip for a while and it has done my nails the world of good

Really needs this for my nails after they get to a certain length they tend to either split and break, ive used this for afew weeks now and its strength my nails by 50% easy to apply and fast drying with a hint of pink, lovely base coat or overall using by itself, i love it, easy and effective im really happy with my nails

This definitely worked for me, I have hard nails but they always seem to split after a certain length. This product definitely prevented that happening.
It does smell very strong of nail varnish but that didn't bother me.

It looks like a base coat on, it makes my nails glow and shine indeed.
I thought this was going to be more like a treatment where I apply to my nails and it soaks into my nails and look natural. It’s actually more like a clear nail polish. My nails look as thought I am wearing clear nail polish.
I tried this on the ultimate nails with issues - my husbands. He works with his hands all day and his nails are very brittle. They chip and break easier. Well his nails did not break or chip at all while using this product. It truly strengthen his nails with just one application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nail polish strengthened and put a nice shine on my natural nails. It gives them a nice sheen with a touch of pink tone. For one who likes to have long lasting natural looking nails, this is quite nice. The applicator is nice and wide for a nice once over swipe that did the job I needed it to. The polish dried within 5 minutes and was able to go about my day pretty quickly. My nails are stronger and haven't noticed any chipping over two days. Just what I was looking for, as regular colored nail polish usually chips for me within hours. If you do not have the time to sit at a nail salon, this is a great alternative for natural, harder, shiny nails.

I've been using this for just under 2 weeks now and my nails have definitely improved.
I work in retail, regularly stocking shelves, breaking down boxes etc and have caught my nails so often and they just break! I haven't actually broken a nail in at least 7 days now which is really impressive for me!
The product is easy to apply, just like a normal nail varnish and doesn't take long to fully dry down either. It also doesn't smell too strongly like I've found many others to.
My nails look healthier, feel stronger and the hint of colour also makes them look pretty! Would definitely purchase again and recommend to friends.

My nails are stronger

I've used this nail strengthener for a little over a week now, and I already feel an improvement. The liquid is a deep pinkish red colour, which leaves your nails with a slightly pink sheen, which is very nice. The smell is quite strong, as with all of these types of products. The brush is long, which helps with a quick and easy application, just one stroke with practice. It dried very quickly, allowing me to apply 2 coats in under 10 minutes.
The coating lasted 3 days before I had to reapply, but as it takes just minutes this is not a problem at all. My nails already feel stronger, and not as soft as they were before I started using the strengthener.

Absolutely love this nail strengthener by essie. I have long nails which are prone to becoming brittle and tearing. I've been using the nail strengthener for a few weeks now and not only do my nails appear stronger but also look healthier too. The pink tint is really subtle and not noticeable however, I do like the natural look that it creates and the shine that it creates is beautiful. I think this is absolutely perfect for daily wear to make your nails look effortlessly pretty and added bonus that it keeps your nails strong aswell.

I was hoping this would help from my nails becoming to thin to be able to grow them out just a little. I painted this on, which is very pretty and smooth. The shine and consistency to the polish is very nicely. But after only a couple of hours it was peeling off and nothing had changed. I cook for a living so in constantly washing my hands and I know that doesnt help with keeping nail polish long lasting, but this was such a short time I dont deep it was able to do much. Tried it again, but got the same peeling results by the end of the first 24 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the bottle this has a purple tint which is not noticeable once applied, it goes on completely clear. Instructions say to apply two layers and that's it. The product is a lot thinner than regular nail polish, so you need to make sure you are not picking up too much product! If you do accidentally apply too much it runs quick since it is so thin, and you need to remove it with the brush o make sure it does not spill over onto your skin. Other than that small issue it seems to work, my nails do look better and feel a little tougher. Best part is it just looks like a nice clear polish that gives your nails a lovely shine!

My nails are extremely soft and fragile, it is very hard for me to grow them. They tend to break very easy and have the tendency to kind of exfoliate and split. I found a product years ago that helped but I moved country and did not find another one to replace. I tried this essie product and I am impressed. The application is extremely easy and I love the pink tone that the product has. My nails feel a little bit stronger and I managed to keep them with no cuts for a week now. The surface of the nail looks really smooth and shiny which I love.Will see how long they will last, but overall I would recommend this product.

The Essie Hard to Resist - neutralize and brighten is lightly purple tinted and glossy clear. The formula is supposed to be nail bonding and bonds weakened nail surface to help improve fragile brittle nails like mine. After 3 days nails are supposed to feel less brittle and appear healthy, smooth with a natural shine! I definitely agree! After wearing this polish for a few days, I definitely already feel them stronger than usual! I’m excited to keep using this product to help strengthen my weak nails!

I’m really impressed by this. After having nail extensions put on and my nails underneath being quite thin, then the extensions were removed my nails were visibly damaged underneath. I decided to take a break and just use this to protect my nail and see if I could bring some strength back. It’s worked great so far, Iv worn it for a couple of weeks and have reapplied just once and I can already feel my nails growing stronger and no longer feel as week. The slight pink tint still helps to make me feel like my nails are done and would be great for even someone who maybe bit their nails and wanted to help them grow. Easy to apply and dries relatively quickly. Would recommend

So, I was really excited to try this product. I didn't know what to expect, but I can tell that my nails are actually stronger, after using it. I did two coats, and love that it makes my nails look clean and fresh. It's fairly low odor, and one of my favorite parts about it is that it dries really fast. As a mom with a baby, I only have a few minutes to do my nails, and need my hands back pretty much right away after that!

My nails usually break very easily and after taking a break from dip powder polish to give my nails a rest, I thought this was the perfect product to use to have a nice shine and strengthen my nails. I really did not notice a big difference in terms of nail strengthening. I don’t usually use regular nail polish because it always chips within 24-48 hrs. This polish lasted about 3 days before chipping. Overall, the polish is very pretty and clean when applied, but I don’t think there is a a big difference when comparing this product to other Essie nail polishes.

The essie Neil varnish’s are known to make your nails look brighter and stronger so I was hoping to get the same result. Well I was not disappointed. The nail varnish glides on perfectly and drys quite fast. It also has a pink tint to it which made my nails look healthy and bright. Iv been using it everyday for a week and have noticed that my nails are much stronger and look longer.

I needed a clear nail varnish that would strengthen my nail as well as give me a healthy looking rose tint. It’s a nice nail varnish that seems to strengthen my nails slightly but I can barely see the rose tint. I only notice that the tint sits on the edges making my nails look more dirty than healthy. It’s a nice enough varnish but doesn’t quite meet my expectations

I absolutely love the essie Hard to resist nail strengthener!!! It's got a lovely hit of pink and lasts ages, it's made my nails super strong and the don't break anymore. It requires 2 coats the first drys quite quickly bit the 2nd coat you need to leave a little longer to dry properly without smudging. I've tried many nails strengthener's over the years but this is by far the best and the like I said give a lovely hit of pink. It takes just over 2 weeks then you have to reapply. I'm always washing up aswell so 2 weeks is a great reapply rate. Overall I would definitely buy again. 10/10

Its easy to apply, the brush is a good shape/size and the nail strengthener has a good consistency, not too thick and goes on smoothly

In Essie’s branded glass, clear bottle with secure screw top lid, you can see this pink tinted liquid in the bottle and it dries clearly with a very slight pink tint. It’s quite a nice colour. The smell isn’t offensive, it’s nice and pleasant and the cap holds the unique, superior brush by Essie. I fully recommend their brushes for coverage and ease! The nail hardener boasts that it will work within 3 days and I was skeptical as my nails are starting to curve with age and use of gels over 20 years but amazingly, this hardener did the trick and I’m fully converted! Fantastic results.

I was so hopeful for this nail varnish. My nails have become quite brittle since having my 2nd baby. I like Essie so was pretty sure this stuff would be good. It started off so well, I liked the pink tint it gave my nails, it made them look fresh and healthy. My nails did feel stronger almost instantly too. Then, I ran into an issue. I was in the shower washing my hair and I noticed something on my hand. The varnish from one of my nails had peeled off, in one go. I tried a few of the others and was able to literally peel the varnish off. I'm pretty sure that shouldn't happen. I haven't used it since, no point if it's going to peel off if I get it wet. Such a shame as I was really hoping it would be good.

I am recovering from chronic anemia and this is the only product that has made my paper thin nails strong enough to grow more than 2mm. It supports nail strength and let's nails bend unlike a lot of nail treatments which have caused nails to become brittle. Great product!!

This is amazing it has made my nails really strong with no breakages. I have applied twice this week and have a lovely nail growth, they usually break off very early. It gives a nice shine after the first coat but after the second coat you get a nice pink tinge.

Great at first, then makes your actual nails peel

I was in love with this the first time I tried it a few weeks ago. It felt like it really hardened and protected my nails and I managed to get them to a longer length than u usually do without any breaks or tears. It would only last a few days, but I'd clean my nails and reapply. But now, my nails are peeling! I have never had this issue in my life before, and nothing else in my routine has changed. I'm going polish free and taking extra care of them for the next wee while. So disappointing for a product that showed such promise but clearly has something wrong with its formula.

This nail strengther is really effective . I suffer from weak nails which often break and split so i was really looking forward to trying this . It is a pink hue in the bottle and is also slighlty pink when applied directly to nails . I found this really easy to apply and i noticed it left my nails with a slight pink tint which i found looked nice and natural . The product dried quickly and left a lovely natural shine which i found looked really professional . I noticed that after frequent use my nails definitely became stronger and more resilient to breaks and splitting .

Strengtned my nails

I used this product and noticed how hard / string my nails felt immediately. My nails are usually quite soft and break easy . Using this strengtner I have noticed a big difference . Leaves a good shine too
