Expressie QUICKDRY nail polish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a full size bottle of Expressie Air Dry nail polish from PINCHME to try out and i can honestly say i am very pleased with this product. It really does dry quickly as stated, so if your in a rush or need a touch this is a great nail polish to use. I only used one coat and got full smooth coverage and no bubbles. The Expressie Air Dry nail polish dried in just a couple of minutes and i even purposely tapped my nail on a ledge to see if it would leave any dents or smudges and it stayed pristine, so it passed the test. I would love to see the other colors available and will be purchasing the Expressie Air Dry nail polish from now on.

Quick and painless polish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re short on time but still want to freshen up your nails with a nice pop of color, Expressie might be your new go-to nail polish. It applies fairly easily, but be forewarned, it really does dry super fast. So not a whole lot of time to even things out without smudging already laid down polish. I wouldn’t recommend this polish to a newcomer to painting nails as a result. Once you increase your skills and confidence, this will be a cinch to use. The color itself, seize the minute, Is sort of like an old barn red. Not especially bright, so definitely good for use in the fall. Full disclosure, I did receive this product free from PINCHme.

Fast drying!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Expressie in color Crop Top & Roll from pinch me to try and review! I love doing my nails at home but hate the drying time of regular nail polish, so I was super excited to try this fast drying Essie! The dry time was amazing it was completely dry in minutes and the color was so pretty. Just a few swipes and the nail is covered I did need a second coat then I put on a top coat which wasn’t really needed as the looked great but I just wanted it to last longer. I was very pleased with the polish the dry time and the color ( a nude pink) I’m so excited that Essie is making quick dry polish I will definitely be buying more!! Recommend this!

Dries super fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, I received this sample a little opened and spilled, but I was still able to use it. The Expressie nail polish went on very smoothly and I only needed 1 coat. The coat was so smooth and shiny. I let my nails air dry for 2-3 minutes. No smudges. I usually have to wait for up to 20 minutes for my nails to dry, usually with two coats of polish. I also have my hands in water a lot, but this nail polish stayed put no chips at all. After about A week It stilled looked great and it was very easy to take off with nail polish remover. Quick and easy on and off. I really liked the Expressie air dry polish.New and innovative! I'm very impressed!

Dries fast/looks natural, not suitable for topcoat

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Got this as a sample and received the 'always transparent' color. (Colourless basically) I wasn't totally sure what sort of nail polish I would be receiving but apparently it is among the 'quick dry' product line of essie. It definitely dries fast and doesn't smudge. Although, it would have been nice if this was like a top coat nail polish. It's not overly shiny and looks natural on the nail but I am someone who rather just leave the nail without polish if there's nothing visually outstanding in design or color. I'd applied a pink blush on the nails first and then added this transparent colour, which seems to hold up well and I don't have complaints about it.

Expressie is an accurate Name

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really don’t think much of claims products make to be “quick drying” but I love essie and thought well let’s give expressie a try. I’m so glad I did I was honestly shocked. I painted my toe nails in the bathtub and reached for my nail file with my left hand 5 minutes after doing my right foot and bumped my big toe. I expected a smudge. To my shock there was not a chip or an indent. The polish was completely dry. I was not a huge fan of the saffr-on the move color because of my skin tone ( I’m far too pale to pull it off) the color is beautiful but just not on me! I have bought this broduct in four colors I love it so much!

Nice but chips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received, Expressie, In a Flash Sale (that's the name of the color; like an orange terracotta), from Pinchme, to try out. I've used other brands of quick dry nail polish and this one seems to be slower to dry. The color is beautiful but it got a run in it after the time I wouldve thought was in the clear for being dried, around 15 to 20 minutes. I did, however, use two coats. Also, after the day was coming to an end. I noticed chips gone on the tips of my nails but the rest of the polish seemed intact for the remainder of the two weeks, until I removed it. I do like this product and glad this brand is jumping on board with quicker drying polish/lacquer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free bottle of Expressie seize the minute nail polish from PINCHme. This nail polish is definitely a true quick dry polish. It was dry to the touch in under 2 minutes, and only slightly tacky for a short while longer. The shade I received is a really beautiful warm red that was flattering with my skin tone. The brush is slightly angled, allowing for easy application. It is designed well to cover the nail without getting polish every where. This polish is great for a quick fix. However, it was chipping by day 2, so it is not a long wear solution. I would still recommend it for a quick, easy manicure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Expressie in In A Flash Sale and I have to say I am in love with it! The color is perfect for fall but the polish itself is amazing! As a mom of 3 I love a good nail polish but i can't afford to always go out and get my nails done so doing them at home is my preferred way. I also have to find the time to do it and i need a polish that will last so i don't have to re do them often. Also! I need a polish that is fast drying because... kids lol. This polish hits all the marks! I've been wearing it for 3 days now and I've only have to do a touch up once (normally it's daily) and the polish completely drying in about 90 seconds so I can actually do things!

Air Dry is beautiful, cool, blue-gray color. Application was a breeze, especially for the non-dominant hand, once you get used to the thicker brush. However, color is matte and flat; it doesn't shape-shift under different lighting the way most Essie polishes so it lacks that dynamic aspect. I attempted it with a top coat (Essie and Seche Vite) which is not recommended as per reading other reviews, and unfortunately that made it chip even faster. Great if you're need for a quick, day-of manicure for work or an event, or if there's a 'must-have' color, but not long-lasting. I'd go for the original if you have the time.

Expressie -Seize the Minute Nail Polish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was not my first introduction to this brand of nail polish. I have used other colors in the past and they have a great reputation. I really like this color, it's very festive for the holiday season. Went on smoothly and evenly with just one coat. My only complaint is that the brush is a bit wide for smaller nails and makes it a little more challenging to not paint surrounding skin :). However, that said once I got all my nails polished, one coat lasted about 2 weeks!! I did put a topcoat on just because I normally do and it's held up very well. I would recommend this polish and especially this color!!

When I got Expressie - Crop Top and Roll, I admired how well that the particular shade of pink complemented my skin and blended and highlighted my wardrobe, but I didn't expect it to be any different than other brands I've tried. I applied a single cote, and was extremely happy with both the coverage and how fast it dried. The color after drying was true to the original color. I put it to the test with several days of hard labor, and, to my surprise, it held up perfectly and looked great! I am really happy that I was offered this product to test, and look forward to buying more colors!

Quick-drying!

It really is quick-drying which considerably cuts down on what can be a lengthy process when painting 2 coats on fingernails & toenails. The brush is the best I've ever used in any nail polish. Typically I would apply a topcoat for staying power, but to test this product's staying power I did not. Needless to say, there was significant chipping on the ends of all my fingernails by the second day. The polish on the toenails still look perfect after several days. All in all, it is a great nail polish and I would recommend - just may want to use a protective topcoat on fingernails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Expressie air dry dried FAST on my nails, and I mean fast! As a busy student, this was uber convienent. The bonus: all vegan ingredients :) I love when companies give the planet a little bit of TLC by opting for plant-based. So, what's the downside? One word" formaldehyde. It's a known human carcinogen, according to IARC. Before you get super freaked out about this, know that it's only unusually high quantities of formaldehyde over long periods that seem problematic. And most nail polishes use a host of other ingedients that are often even less ideal. So, Expressie checks out pretty well in my book! :)

After my first try with Essie’s quick-dry line, I’m never going back to regular polish. I was suspicious of the quick dry claim, but it really did dry COMPLETELY in 2-3 minutes, if that. Essie is my favorite brand of polish, but I don’t paint my nails as often as I’d like because of needing to wait for regular polish to dry. No more waiting! My one concern with this particular shade is that it has a hint of orange compared to how it looks in the bottle. However, still no complaints since it’s such a breeze to use. And maybe I’m just used to cool tones for polish, rather than warm tones. Overall I love it!

Surpassed expectations

This nail polish does what it says as far as quick drying. I’m able to paint my nails and it was completely dry within a few moments. Dry enough to go back to my daily activities.
I don’t expect to be impressed by nail polish because it always seems to start chipping off by the second day. That was not the case with this product. This actually started getting worn on the edges several days later, rather than chipping. I work in a warehouse and I’m impressed with how well it stayed on after a workweek.
Because of the short drying time and how well it stayed, I will be purchasing this in other colors.

My new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Espressie seize the minute nail polish works as advertised with a couple of bonuses. First, it does dry quickly and the color (I got red as a sample from PINCHme) is quite opaque and I didn't need more than a single coat to get the look I like. The brush is rounded at the bottom which makes it fit nicely at the corners of the nail, right up to the cuticle. Because it only requires one coat (and, in fact, only one is recommended) removing it is super easy and quick. Finally, it doesn't peel off like most polishes I use do. I don't know if that is a common experience or just mine personally, but this polish stays for days before showing small chips at the end (likely from washing dishes).

Good Formula, Brush could be Better

I enjoyed the formula of this essie expressie polish. It applied smoothly with even coverage after only one coat (I used over a clear base coat), which was a pleasant surprise, especially for such a dark shade. It did dry quickly and had a nice shiny finish. I used it on my toenails, and it has looked fresh for over a week! The only thing I did not care for was the brush. It's quite large, which made it difficult to avoid getting polish on my skin. I prefer a thinner brush for better control.

was very easy. For the first time ever, I can say, that I successfully applied the polish to my left hand without any goof-ups! You have no idea how seriously happy this makes me! I simply put on one coat,
allowed it to dry and I was done ... it only took a minute to dry! Best of all: no animal-derived ingredients. @essie you got me clapping my hands (with gorgeous shiny nails that is)!

Im always on the go, so I love that it is a quick drying formula because it gives me less of a chance of messing my nails up as they are drying. A lot of quick dry formulas Ive tried in the past are very prone to chipping and dont last as longbut this one lasts really well on my nails. It stays very shiny and layers well. After 5 days of wearing this polish I touched up the tips and my nails looked as good as new. Something about the shape of the brush makes it very easy to easily cover my whole nail when applying the polish.

I was able to do my nails super fast and get going out the door with 2 coats in less time than I have ever had with any other nail polish! It lasts quite a long time on my nails even when I am very active with my hands, it held up almost a full week looking good. I have been excited to have nice nails again, since using this nail polish my nails have gotten the chance to grow and get stronger. Fast dry, maximum coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Expressie air dry has definitely taken me by surprise. It dried super fast, like by the time I got to my pinkie my hand was completely dry. The real test tho was resistance. I'm a busy mom with 3 kids and 2 jobs. I normally work bare hands or when it's affordable I'll get my nails done. I love polished nails but usually by the time I get house work going my polish has already chipped. With the expressie I was expecting it to chip easy especially with how fast it dried. Surprisingly enough I'm 3 days in and not 1 chip!!! I will definitely be looking for more colors in the air dry expressie!!!

I typically do not purchase clear polish. I love the essie brand and this clear polish did not disappoint. I have been trying to grow up. I really like the bigger plusher brush- it holds more polish, so provides for much quicker application w/ less redipping. It truly dries quickly- by the time I had finished my 2nd foot, my 1st one was already touch dry. I'm impressed. Very convenient. A little pricier than average nail polish-- I'm not usually a person willing to pay more for beauty products often, but for this one in my opinion worth it. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect 5 stars is a combination of the price & that I wasn't a fan of the dark gray color I received, but I will likely purchase a different color to try.

The color is nice, kind of a terra cotta shade, more on the orange side. The texture of the polish wasn’t too thick or thin and was easy to apply. It dries quickly and smoothly. Two coats are needed for full coverage, otherwise the polish was sheer. My main complaint is that the polish chipped within 24 hours of very light use of my hands. I definitely think it needs a topcoat to strengthen it. I would buy this polish again to try with a topcoat, but it can’t be used without one.

Formula needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Essie is one of my favorite brands of nail polish so I was super excited to try their new line of fast drying polish "expressie". I recieved the color "seize the minute". It is a beautiful deep red with blue undertones. The color is a flattering red that would work well with all skintones.
Application was super easy, the angled brush really helps in applying the polish quickly and efficiently as it hugs your nail. Drying time is super fast. 2 coats and 30 to 60 seconds and you're good to go.
Unfortunately, the formula needs work. My polish chipped that same day. I had to use a top coat to prolong wear time but even then, by day 3, it began to chip again.
I don't want to trade wear time for dry time.

The color that I received was called "Seize the Minute" and it's a beautiful red color, not a classic "lipstick red" but more of a warmer red with a slight brownish undertone to it. The color went on very smoothly and evenly with the brush and that impressed me! It's supposed to have built in base and top coat so I just put on two coats of the polish and it dried very fast and looked great. The next day, however, I started to get a couple of chips so I put on a separate top coat.

Stylish Time Saver

I never have time to get to the nail salon as often as I want to these days but I still want to look and feel good. For those in between salon visits, I like to give a quick polish to my nails so i can keep going. I tried the new expressie nail polish in "seize the minute" and IT IS ON FIRE! The polish just glides on in one fell swoop and the smooth finish is like a mirror. I adore the color too because it just glamorous enough to stand out, but neutral enough to go with anything I wear this fall. So far, it's held up to a dog washing, nightly dishes, and even an impromptu rose bush pruning. Consider me impressed and pleasantly pleased.

Nice Expressie Nail Polish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never heard of Expressie but the bottle looks like other nail polish brands. It said it was fast drying so I tested it on my pinky while I was doing makeup. The smell is typical nail polish smell but not too strong. The saffr-on the move is a nice neutral deep tan color. It glided on easily and I let it dry for a few seconds and continued my makeup still being careful not to smudge it. But once I was done, and checked to see if it dried yet but it still wasn't and I actually messed it up a bit. So other than it not really being fast drying, it's a nice nail polish.

Thankfully this fabulous nail polish from Essie is high quality and fantastic! Lets start off with the application, the angled brush makes it so easy to apply even with my non dominant hand. I also found the brush seemed larger so it covered more of my nail so I didnt need as many strokes per nail. Making the time to paint quicker. Speaking of quick I found this nail polish dried it record time! Ive tried other nail polishes that take forever to dry and this is one of my pet peeves because I dont have any patience for this and with other polishes it gets wrecked before its dried. So the super drying speed of this polish has me hooked.

The colour is good, but the formula is horrible

I initially bought another Expressie nail colour and found it to be a very thick lacquer, making it very difficult to get a nice and smooth application of colour. This also meant that the end result wasn't smooth. At the time I thought that it must be a "dud" and that I was just unlucky to get that one.
2 Days ago I decided to chose to buy a different Expressie nail colour, hoping that it wouldn't have the same issue. Unfortunately I was wrong and I find the Expressie nail colours to be a complete disappointment.
In both instances of buying the Expressie nail colours, I very much loved the colour of the nail polish, but I won't be purchasing any Expressie nail colours again and I certainly don't recommend it.

Hello MargeauxB. Thanks for sharing your experience with the expressie quick dry color 'crop top & roll'. We can see this wouldn’t be the result you were hoping for. In fact, the description of the texture for your 2 polishes sounds wrong. The expressie colors should flow onto the nails as easily as any nail color. By the second coat your color should be perfect and your manicure dry in about a minute.

Quick and easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of the brand expressie saffr-on the move nail polish and absolutely fell in love with it! I lead a very busy lifestyle and most nail polishes take too long to dry and I end up having to do something (make dinner, take out the dog, attend to children, etc) before my nails can fully dry. This product totally changed my mind about nail polish! I applied one coat of the polish and it dried hard in MINUTES! I was able to take the dog for a walk mere minutes after applying the nail polish and they still looked nice after! Totally recommend to anyone!

One coat is all you need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Expressie - Crop top & roll nail polish is perfect. Goes on with one coat, Stays on a long time without any chips, cracks in the coating, and blends evenly. The color is perfect. It matched my skin tone, (light Ivory) which made it seem like I was not wearing any nail polish at all, which I liked that a lot. Expressie gives off a glossy shine to your nails, that also last a long time. Easy to take off with ease. Absolutely love this product. This one is a keeper. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting the chance to try the expressie nail polish was mostly a good experience. First of all I got the color “seize the minute” and it’s such a pretty color! Perfect for this time of year. This product states that it dries within the minute and it’s true it dries pretty fast! They only thing I would have to say is that it does chip pretty easily. My nails lasted a day before the corners started coming off. The brush is rounded and big which made it easier to to get the job done. Over all I think it’s a good product and if you layer it maybe it will last longer.
