Expressie is Correct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I joined this campaign because I thought that this shade was super cute, and it was! But after using a couple different shades of this Expressie formula I’m not sure that I love it. The polish is a bit thicker than I’m used to and it begins to dry super quickly. That’s great in theory for a speedy mani but not so great in practice when the polish starts to dry on the brush as soon as it’s out of the bottle and makes it hard to actually apply to the nail. Overall the shades are super pretty but the dry time might be a little too quick.

Hello Anpanmari. Thanks so much for trying out the expressie quick dry nail color in the 'take controller'. Your description of the texture and dry time does not sound right for this nail color. All of our nail colors, including the expressie, should flow easily onto the nails and look perfect by the second coat. While the color dries on the nail in about a minute, it should not dry on the brush.

Was so excited, but not for long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I heard Essie was coming out with a rapid dry polish I could not have been more excited. Essie is my go to choice of polish, and but my least favorite thing is how many coats many of the colors take, and how long it takes to dry- so I thought this would be a perfect solution! Boy was I wrong, not that I was expecting the gel strength manicure longevity here- but this didn’t even last a day before chipping. The polish does dry quickly ~10 minutes, but still does require 3-4 coats to get a non streaky color.

Hello Mlevano741! This is not how a nail color should perform, We want to understand what happened just as much as you do. By the second coat, all essie nail colors should look perfect. The color "take controller" should be a vibrant lime green nail polish with yellow undertones. The expressie quick dry colors go on bare, clean nails, (no base coat or top coat is used) Two coats of color and your manicure is dry in about a minute.

long lasting, smooth finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually really liked these polishes. They do dry fast, so make sure you’re applying an even coat. I applied two coats for a beautiful, full coverage finish, but I could’ve gotten away with just one coat. It truly looks and feels like a gel polish and it lasted me two weeks (even with cleaning my apartment) which is unheard of for a regular polish. The shades are vibrant and I got lots of compliments on my nails when wearing both the precious cargo-go and don’t hate, curate polishes.

truly a quick dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this shade as well as Remote Friends to put the quick drying time to the test. I really enjoyed the easy application, very pigmented and only needed two coats (personal preference), and it truly dries quicker than most the polishes I’ve tried in the past. Not a “tacky, quick” dry either, but like a true dry, I can go do stuff without messing them up dry!!! I’ll definitely be looking into more shades to add to my collection!

Even on his beat up hands the polish looks great, it performs wonderfully, and dries super quick! I painted my toes this color and it is super cute. I will definitely be purchasing from this line up in the future again! I'm super happy with how these perform.

I am a fan of Essie Nail Polishes. The green color is vibrant and fun. It does start to chip quickly and take a little longer than I'd like to dry but that's the blunders of nail polish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color, I just think that the applicator is too big and make the aplica kind of messy. If it was flat it would be much better. Also I think the name of the color should be in the front not just on top. That way it’s easier for pictures, and to find it at stores too. The product is very good and it dries very fast indeed.

So far they have lasted and don’t chip easily and that paint on my nails professionally! Not goopy nor do they dry up too fast that they don’t paint on smooth. Really love this collection. I would buy and recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing I liked about this polish was the colors I bought. I like wide brushes but this brush was too thick and it made it hard to get an even application and hard to get close to the nail line. The polish was also kind of thick and made it hard to do 2 coats, which I do no matter what polish I use.

Very affordable and easy to use the brush is also very nice. Worth of try if you love nail polish or if your a beginner.

This nail polish really does hit the mark in terms of express. I usually only need 2 coats of color and it dries within minutes. It’ll last about a week before the color starts to chip but touch ups are so much easier when it dries so quick.
