Good neutral colour .. long drying time!

Great neutral colour followed the instructions of waiting 2 minutes before applying a second coat and another 2 minutes for the gel topcoat but honestly feel it was too tacky and not dry enough to apply another coat this in effect lead to the nails not lasting as long as some of the nail varnish actually just peeled off as a whole! 3 stars as not sure if it’s user error or if drying time needs to be longer on instructions don’t think this is a nail varnish you can apply in a rush as unsure how long it would actually take to dry. Lovely packing very stylish! Great colour though if you want varnish on but nothing too obvious.

Gel like finish and easy to apply

So I was initially blown away when I applied this product as it really did have a gel finish and was easy to apply. The dry time was a little slow taking over an hour. I would have rated higher if after about 5 days it had maintained the finish - the last photo in my review shows the product after wear (I work an office job so no manual labour or heavy use). I would still purchase again as would be good short term but I would just expect it needs reapplying sooner than other varnishes.

Easy to use, fab results

First off, I love the design of this bottle! To me Essie is a more premium nail varnish brand and this definitely lived up to that preconception, the formula feels high quality: it’s not too thin, not too thick, and dries very quickly. I put it on at work and was typing while it dried and it still dried perfectly.
The brush is great which was good news for me since I’m a bit of a sloppy nail varnish applier!
The one slight downside is that it’s a very, VERY pale pink. It’s not necessary a bad thing if you’re going for a barely there colour but a bit more colour would’ve been nice I think.

This nail gel is such a sweet colour. It's very pretty and delicate. It gives your nails a really ladylike look. The application goes on really smooth and drys very fast. So far, it's been a few days, and there are no chips at all. Overall, it's a great gel.

I really like the bottle this comes in - very unique and pretty! The shade is just perfect for a natural look - I put two coats on and it looks lovely. It drys very quickly and feels very protective.

I had the two step system the colour and the top coat in a lovely twisted bottle which I love makes it easy to hold and looks great the nail polish itself is a beautiful natural/ classic light pink colour that I thought looked funny when I put it on but as it dryed it makes it look like a nice manicure when you apply more coats the colour does get slightly more pigmented so can be used as two different designs from one polish it does take awhile to dry between coats 5-10 mins the formula was abit thin/runny but the overall effect once all done was lovely looked as if I had a manicure for less than half the price normally my nails chip with in about 10 min but with this I am on day 3 and still looks beautiful and shiny love that you can have a gel manicure without having to buy a light aswell

Oh wow I really love this shade it is a nice pale pink that really is subtle but very pretty. The nail polish itself glides on so easily over the nails. You only need one coat and it’s enough. The colour stain is beautiful. It dries up very fast in less than a minute. This lasted all week without any chipping and the shade did not fade. This is my new summer shade it looks so beautiful with tanned skin.

The packaging looks nice but that’s about it when it comes to good points. It goes on streaky no matter how much you try get it smooth the finish is awful it just peels off your nails and chips the second anything touches it even with the top coat on

Quick drying and lovely natural shade for my nails. However, apply it very thinly in one layer as it doesn't cope well and starts to look streaky ruining the natural effect of the colour.

I received a sample pack of Essie Gel Couture in the shade Fairy Tailor. This is a lovely baby pink, almost nude colour. This is good for me as I tend to prefer a natural look.
You get 2 bottles, the polish and the gel-like top coat. The bottles are quite quirky and have a "twister" look which looks cool on my dresser.
The brush to apply is a brilliant shape, it fans out to be slightly curved which makes applying the polish quickly a doddle. I did mine while watching TV!
I would recommend two coats of polish for some proper colour as the first coat was a little thin for my liking but this is common for me. Overall it looked lovely on my nails.
After a day, I normally have chipped at least one nail and there were none today which is a big signaler!

This colour is stunning! What I can only describe as the cleanest nude colour there ever once was!
I love a pinky nude and this literally perfected that for me!
I usually get gel nails but I got my friend to paint them this time around and I have no regrets! They dried quickly too which is one of my huge bug bares so fingers crossed they last. I think the top coat also made a huge difference with the shine.

I am so happy with this nail varnish, the colour is much brighter than i thought it would be (after 2/3 coats) it drys so so quick. You do not need a lot on your brush at-all when applying. Only had it on a couple days and it hasn’t chipped so far. I absolutely love how you don’t need a UV light for this nail varnish, but it looks as if i have gel nails on! I will be buying more colours!

This shade may as well of been clear , it's a very light natural colour , don't know if its just my skin colour . But couldn't tell a difference , used this colour and waited to dry , when it was fully dry I caught my little toe and this instantly came off, I've used 99p 1 coat varnish before and caught my toe and this never happened . 2/10 for me

I am not massively happy with this color. I apply easily, but coverage isn’t great. You need 3-4 layers to cover well and after it take ages to dry. Overall I would give this brand a second go, but with different shade, maybe darker one have better coverage. It last on nails quite long, so definitely plus for that.

fairy tailor love the name and packaging is cool comes in a glass designed bottle. It is a sheer neutral pink-nude nail polish. And it does have a slight milky nudeish sheer look to it. The nail polish drying time is fantastic. i didnt give 5 star as wasnt a fan of the colour on my nails. Each to their own though.

i love essie nail polishes and this pink one is a new fav! it is so easy to apply and dries quickly so extra layers can be added to get the cover you desire. for me 2 layers is perfect! super versatile shade that acts like a neutral meaning it will go with all outfits in my opinion.

The colour in the bottle is beautiful, but it acts more like a clear top coat rather than a polish. With 1 layer it barely has any pigment, to get that colour you have to do multiple coats, which peel off and dont dry
