Gorgeous nail lacquer

I was gifted the pencil me in essie nail lacquer by obsessies to test and review, and absolutely loved it.
The nail lacquer was easy to apply, dried really quick and the colour looked gorgeous. I only applied 2 coats but could have very easily got away will only applying 1 coat.

It's not easy to get a good coverage with white as every brush stroke is visible. This is the right consistency so after two coats it's got a flawless finish, I'm sure that the quality of the brush also helps. It's great on its own or as a base for nail art, or as a base to make other colours really 'pop'. I love it!

Essie nail polish

Nice solid deep classic red shade with a good shine to the polish.
Wide tapered brush which makes application easy and covered one nail using one stroke of the brush .
I applied 2 coats which dried quickly .
Really nice shade of red but unfortunately it did not last more than 2 days without chipping at the edges.
Shame as it’s a perfect deep red but didn’t last long for me .

Wowww what a gorgeous colour is this , great on my toes and fingetnails i didnt even put on a second coat no scratches or stickiness, so luxurious i love this little bottle of not red y for bed, i cant stop looking at the colour

This a lovely bright cherry red colour. Two coats of this polish are all you need for a nice opaque and glossy finish. I think this the type of red the suits all skin tones. It's become a definite go to for me!

This really is my favourite brand of nail polish, the colours are so pretty. I buy these as presents for friends as they feel like a special treat. No promises of chip proof but they really do last for days

Salt water happy nail lacquer is a gorgeous Atlantic blue shade like a powder blue that's creamy and soft & really gives your nails a fresh summer look,the wide brush makes quick easy application and gives you full coverage.For best results prep nails with essie apricot oil before and cleanse the nails with polish remover to remove dirt and oils then apply a essie base coat and two coats of the nail lacquer and finish with a essie top coat to prevent nails from chipping and fading and leave you with nails looking gorgeous and left with a high shine and salon look. Really pleased with the quality of the polish and lasting effect on my nails and the shade is just dreamy and one of my favourites for summer nails and toenails.

Essie nail polish

Received this nail polish, unfortunately not my shade at all, I must have filled in the shade choice too late! Polish applies nicely, especially for a creme, I'm usually not good with applying cremes as they tend to go streaky on me, but this one didn't seem to after a couple of coats. I had some chipping/wear to my index fingers and thumbs after a couple of days, but this is unfortunately normal for me, even with a top coat. So not a slight against the polish at all, I'm happy if I get a couple of days wear. Good formula, quality as always from Essie.

gorgeous colour

I received the colour ‘saltwater happy’ and so far I am loving the results. The colour is very pretty, and has been on my nails for 5 days without a single chip so far. The only thing that could be improved is the application of the product. I found it quite hard to apply the first coat evenly, and ended up doing 3 coats for a seamless finish. It also took a while to dry in between coats, since the formula is a bit thicker than other colours I’ve tried. Takes a bit of getting used to, but the results are lovely and the colour is true to the bottle.

I received this Essie nail polish in the shade (Un) Guilty Pleasure from Obsessies to test and review this product.
Firstly, would like to say how stunning does this shade look, literally so in love with this shade. I am nail polish addict, I love to wear different nail polish colours and especially those that match my outfit which I think looks really cute, I literally have a full box with all my nail polishes in. I was so excited when I got this shade sent out to me as this was the only shade I didn’t have.
I love how this has a wide applicator as it’s super easy to apply. I do have to say that this dries up really quick which is amazing. For this shade I only applied one coat and looking at this it doesn’t need another coat over it which I think is perfect.

As with all the essie nail polishes I own, I love the colour and name in this one. It applies nicely, dries fast, and is fully opaque after 2 coats. Nice glossy finish, beautiful colour, lasts for days. The only reason I didn't give it 5* is because it mildly stained my nails, but most blue and green colours do. The staining went away after a day or so, and could be probably prevented with a double layer of a clear base coat, but all that being said, I thought it's still a fab nail polish.

I honestly see the difference between a high quality nail varnish now. It applied so smoothly, the colour is perfect, it stayed without chipping for over a week! extremely impressed! amazing

I am really impressed by this essie polish. The shade 'Sugar' is the perfect everyday baby pink colour that can suit any skintone. The wide brush makes it easy to apply and it also applies smoothly with no streaks. The drying time is also quick too. Once my nails were dry, they looked very shiny even without a topcoat. I really recommend trying out this colour if you are into pastels and looking for a colout that will look elegant in the day and even in the night too!

Apres Chic is a mesmerising liquid Silver shade, it is perfect for the Winter Festive Season. Application is smooth, super easy, and durable from chipping easily. One coat is sufficient, however two coats adds to the intensity. I usually gravitate towards a more golden tone, when it comes to a metallic shades, however I will continue to keep this shade in the collection. It makes a bold statement, that will compliment any look, the high shine finish is fierce.

The shade is cute ,but I'd not choose it if I was at the shop. I personally like more red and pink shades, however it did look pretty good on my skin tone. The application was very easy. Fast drying. It did start cracking a little bit 2 days later. Keep in mind I do cleaning and washing so it didn't help it to last long. It did give me summer vibes, Green goes well with yellow and blue dresses I have. I will be trying more vibrant colours in the future.

I was so pleased and grateful to receive this shade from Essie! I like how the colour manages to be bright and slightly muted at the same time. It’s a sort of peachy/apricoty orange that looks super sophisticated on the nails.
As usual the Essie formula is a dream to work with and goes on smoothly and evenly thanks to the brush shape. I find you can get away with one coat but doing 2 ensures complete opacity. Would highly recommend!

The polish is a really lovely vibrant pink but not outrageous over the top neon! It applies easily and coats really well. Strangely, the first coat dried quite dull but after the second coat, the glossy shine appeared.
The disappointing thing was that I didn’t apply too coat straight away and after an hour or so of normal activity around the house, I had chips all around the edge. It definitely needs a top coat straight away !

Like everyone else over the past year I've been bereft of the fortnightly trip to the nail salon. I usually have shellac for ease but after literally chiselling it off I could see how bad it was for my nails so moved back to 'normal' polish which I can do myself, at home, during zoom work calls, for free! so I've been mixing up the colours along and this one is great like a really warm/ not trashy red and perfect for toes

Essie blanc nail polish review

This nail polish was a great shade for doing white tips or even painting your finger nails and toes white. It gave a lovely statement to the nails plus the application was smooth rather than being cloggy. The brush was long enough to grasp enough polish per nail and easily dried in about 5 minutes. The nail polish never chipped for weeks and was easily removed with nail polish remover which left no residue remaining

This is the first time when I try essie, and I am very impressed. The colour is beautiful, it is very easy to apply, not messy, it doesn't necessarily needs 2 coats and it dries quickly. My nails look like they have been done at a salon, very shiny. The nail varnish is very good quality, doesn't chip easily and lasts for a longer period than other brands. The smell is subtle and not disturbing.

When this little beauty arrive, wgat strikers me the most was the colour. it reminded me of a sea green colour and felt very summery.. application was easy and the nail polish was easy to apply. the brush itself was perfect for my nails to apply and the colour really did look instant..I didn't really need to apply 2 coats if I didn't want too..it coated my nails very well and will be wearing through the summer.

So I have never really tried wearing a red polish before as needed thought it suited me.
How wrong, complete game changer.
I love how easily this brand applied. I didn’t end up with any streaky brush lines or clumping on end of the nail! It dries super quick and gives a flawless finish every time even without a base and top coat! Absolutely amazing results! Will defo be trying the rest of the range!

Good nail polish

I liked using the Essie nail polish in the shade blanc, it looked really pretty on the finger nails and toe nails and this shade would go perfectly with a tan. I found the consistency of the polish to be a little too runny but it was still good and dried at a good rate. The shade of the nail polish was the perfect white. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely white shade nail polish.

Picked these colours as my work needs u to wear natural colours but to be honest it took about 4 coats to get it to a smooth look and the colour its supposed to be, it also took really long to dry so because of this it eneded up chipping and then having to redo the nail all over again, witch really is a disappointing as not always do you have the time . I wouldn't recommend or buy this product

I really enjoyed using this nail polish, bright beautiful magenta shade called ‘pencil me in.
The formula is glossy, very easy to apply and the texture of the product makes it easy to apply crease free.
Opaque strong colour that doesn’t really need a second coat.
Glossy finish and hard wearing result that lasts days without chipping.
Overall a high quality nail polish and very pretty shade.

I received the Essie nail polish to test and review and this is my honest review.
The nail polish is definitely a high quality product, lasts about 6 -7 days and no chips or peelings. The colour is vibrant and there is a lot of choices for everyone s taste.
The texture is nice and smooth, so easy to apply , I always use Essie nail polishes because of how long it lasts. Definitely worth.

I was kindly sent this beautiful nail varnish from the obsessies community in exchange for honest review. I got shade 894 which is called (un)guilty pleasures. The colour is very beautiful and unique. it's easy to apply and evenly covers the nail. I did the recommended two coats and my nails look fabulous. can't wait to build my collection as so many beautiful shades to choose from

Essie, more like oh Yessie! Thought this would be great for just nail art but realised it's actually beautiful when used alone too. The pearl color some how succeeds at being bold yet demure at the same time. I've gotten some nice compliments. Just make sure the first coat is very thin and the second as you would normally apply. I also had to lightly thin the polish out just a bit.

This is definitely the best white nail polish i have tried so far. It is very opaque and glossy. You only need two coats for full coverage without smears and smudges. The brush is a perfect size and makes it easy to get it really close to the cuticles. It wears nicely, doesnt turn yellow and doesnt chip easily. Definitely a go to if you are looking for a good quality white polish.

I absolutely loved this nail polish. It is way thinner than the rest of the essie nail polishes, which worried me at first, but the pigment in it was mind blowing.
I have really put these to the test, i wore this nail polish for over 2 weeks. i'm an artist so usually my nails stain or peel from the chemicals, i've alsp done some gardening etc and i've noticed zero chipping!!

This nail polish is fantastic, I've had it on about a week now and it's still going strong with hardly and chips, or faded. The best thing is that it drys super quickly which means I got it done quicker than normal. The only down side is that it was a little bit watery so I had to apply 3 coats, otherwise it would of been to see through. The scent isn't strong either

I got shade “unguilty pleasure” of Essie nail polish from this community. However, I already had the same Essie shade already (meaning that I already was absolutely in love with this colour). It’s really tropical, summer vibe colour and easily used for nail art! Brush is making an applications really easy and precise, it’s quick drying and even one coat will do.

I love Essie polish, it’s my go to at home polish that gives a salon quality look. This colour is lush! It really stands out and has a lovely summer vibe. It goes on like a dream, I applied two coats to achieve a deeper colour. It’s left my nails looking band on trend, super shiny and you can’t tell it’s been done at home and not at the salon. Super impressed!

I'm absolutely loving my new Essie nail polish in the shade Pencil me in .I'm a massive Pink lover so this shade just fits in perfectly with me .So this polish goes on like a dream it's not dead watery like some polishes and I only needed one coat per nail it stayed on for over a week which I think is amazing.Im loving this shade it's such nice vibrant pink .

As always this brand won't disappoint me. The shade is absolutely gorgeous and rich and intense. The brush is very comfortable to use, very easy to spread the nail polish with no issues at all. One layer is enough to get satisfaction from the product. I'm loving everything about this product. It gets dry very quick and it sits beautifully on my short nails.

From drip to tip the quality of this nail varnish is worth every penny , you get a nail salon style finish at a fraction of the cost and it comes in some amazing colours , this vibrant Not Red-y for bed is truly a classic for any woman who likes to look like she’s walking down the red carpet , it’s so easy to apply and doesn’t take long to dry.
