Cute daily polish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The easiest application process i have ever had with nail polish. Im not the greatest at applying polish but the applicator or great. I can get into all the corners of nail with ease.
The slight pink clear polish gives my nails a healthy looking finish. I did one hand to compare and my natural nail looked pale compared to the ones with a coat of cin cin.
Im surprised one coat is enough. I like the look of still being able to see my nail. I have washed my hands, done housework, and run errands and there is no chipping in sight. Only using one coat and being durabile means the nail polish will last you a long time.

Applies and covers beautifully

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As you can see in my “before” photo, my nails are peeling. I’m trying some different things to get my nails looking more healthy.
In the meantime, this new Essie Glass Nails Nail Art Studio polish in the shade “Cin Cin” makes a huge difference. My photo was after just one coat! The polish completely covered my peeling nails with shine and a subtle wash of color. The color wasn’t patchy and it was so easy to apply.
I have several other Essie polishes, but I think I need another shade of this Glass Nails polish. I love it! This product was complimentary for review purposes, but this is my true and honest review.

Cin Cin 97 is the perfect everyday nude with a soft, clean finish that makes your nails look naturally polished and put-together. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say about Essie Gel Nail Collection…I love the glass effect! I love the natural pink neutral tone shade with my skin complexion. It lasts about a 5-7 days before it starts to chip. It feels like a gel, but not harsh! Glides on smoothly and so easy to remove. My favorite part is it if you’re a girly like me who has been transitioning away from press on and acrylic nails it feels like a hardener. I love it and will continue to use it on my nails. I’m excited to try the other colors. Excuse my cuticles I did not want them clipped. Perhaps I can get some cuticle oil next.

DURABLE

I’m not a “nail girl” but I do like doing my own nails at home on occasion. When I read “glass nails” I assumed this would be a high-shine product. It’s shiny, but super sheer and transparent—like glass. I wore this on my thumb for 3 weeks. I’m an art teacher and wash my hands 408268391x every day, constantly have my hands in something gross/abrasive, or I’m using power tools and duct tape. My hands go through a LOT. In the 3 weeks this was on my nail, only the very end chipped away. I’m super impressed. I do wish this was opaque and I’ll be gifting it to a friend, but I would absolutely purchase this again because the formula is fantastic.

Okay polish - formula needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this polish, but don't love it. The color is a lovely, translucent pink. I usually don't wear pinks but this one was fun to try and reminds me of bubblegum! The brush is tiny and not as easy to apply as flat broad brushes, but I can see that being an advantage when applying nail art. The color also doesn't land on the nail consistently, so it takes a few swipes to get the color to not look splotchy. I feel the formula may need some adjustment. I used 3 coats to give it a more opaque look and then topped it off with Essie's speed setter quick dry top coat. So far, I've had the polish on for 4 days and it is staying on with no chips, so that's a great sign, but I probably would not buy this particular polish next time.

Perfect wash of color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been loving the jelly nail trend as it helps me feel put together without all the maintenance and worry about my nail polish chipping so I was excited to try Essie’s new polish. I got the color cin cin and it’s a perfect light mauve color for the winter but can really be worn all year round. Two coats gives you a nice wash of color. I did use a base and top coat with it as well. I’ve worn for about a week and so far so good. There is a slight chip on one finger but it’s not super noticeable so I don’t feel the need to repaint that nail. So far, so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This polish has a flat brush that makes it easier to apply. The polish itself is a thick liquid that is hard to apply evenly. I used the Essie base coat first (that I bought earlier and really like) and one coat of the glass polish because it was hard to apply evenly and it took a long time to dry. I used a translucent top coat after (which I always do) and even with the base and top coats, it started chipping the 2nd day. I liked the color and I will give this brand another chance with a non glassy polish, but this one is not for me.

Nice Formula and Dries Quickly

The nail polish is so easy to apply- no fuss and no mess, the formula is good. It took only few minutes for it to dry and also no need for me to apply top coat as it’s already shiny enough. I got the color CinCin, it’s a very pretty color but it doesn’t seem to go well with my nails. I have stubby/short nails that’s why I don’t usually put on nail polish. I like it on my thumb though, the rest not so as you can see on the picture. I applied three coats.

The finish is so pretty, like a natural sheen that just makes your nails look like your nails but better. Love the glassy look

So far I've layered it over a light pink base (Essie Expressie 200 In the Time Zone) and it gave my nails the prettiest pink-toned, glassy shine. It adds a smooth, polished effect without being too much. I also love how easy it is to apply the brush spreads the polish evenly and smoothly (no streaks!) so even an amateur like me can get clean, polished-looking nails without much effort. It's not too overwhelming with smell, but you do still smell a bit of the polish. The bottle packaging is also easy and simple- perfect size and weight for bottle polish! I can totally see this looking amazing layered over white or even a light blue base too. Love the look it gives! This brand has never failed to impress me!

It’s the most beautiful natural pink, soft, girly, and buildable so you can go super subtle or add more layers for a richer pop of color. It dries pretty quickly and the staying power has really impressed me. Ever since I put it on, I can’t stop looking at my nails!
It’s that perfect “your nails but better” shade… feminine without feeling overpowering. Truly the ideal everyday pink. I would highly recommend this color, and it’s definitely becoming one of my new go-to shades.

Great quality and the opacity after each layer is awesome. But for me, regular nail polish never lasts long and very had to dry with multiple layers for desired color. Though it is a pretty spring color. I will still reach for my gel nail polishes that will hold up longer. If you like temporary nail color, sure, but if you like long term (1 week) .. maybe not.

Personally, I don’t really see the blue undertones, but it is a very pretty sheer pink. The formula is buildable, though even with three coats you can still see the natural nail underneath—which adds to the “glassy” effect.
The polish has a beautiful high-shine finish that truly delivers on the glass look. Dry time is on the slower side, and I feel it would probably set better under a UV lamp. I’m not a professional, so my application isn’t perfect, but the polish itself was easy to work with. That said, it does spread a bit, so you’ll definitely want to do some cleanup around the cuticles.
Overall, this is a nice option if you enjoy sheer, glossy nails and don’t mind taking a little extra time for application and drying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Essie remains my go-to brand for DIY at-home manicures since it’s so conveniently available at most major retailers, grocery stores, and pharmacies. While I generally love the brand, the shade "Chi Chi" from the Glass Nails line was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I absolutely adore the smooth, high-shine finish that truly lives up to its "glassy" name, but the formula is a bit too sheer for my personal taste. Even though the color is buildable, it never becomes fully opaque, leaving the white tips of my nails visible and creating a look that reminds me a bit too much of a neon highlighter. However, a major upside to this sheerness is that when the polish eventually starts to chip, it is hardly noticeable; the growth and wear blend in so well that I don't feel rushed to reapply or fix my nails immediately.

It's a shame because it is just a true pitch black color and could be a one coat black but better with two coats. Just not worth it for how much it chipped and peeled compared to other polish. Usually love Essie brand so this is definitely a huge let down. Used "here to stay" base coat and "gel-setter" top coat along with it which I usually don't have many problems with.

This nail polish has the consistency and finish of a gel polish. I did notice that it takes a while to dry but if you have a uv gel drying lamp, the process is much faster. I do have a lamp so after becoming impatient, I used my lamp and my nails cured very quickly. Depending on the intensity of your color preference, one coat gives you a "barely there yet still shiny" color. Adding more coats of polish intensifies the color in the end.
I love how subtle the color looks on my nails and would definitely try the other colors from this line!

Shiny but sheer

I love the soft natural looking pink that it is, just enough to know you have color but not super bright, which is nice. I put 2 coats and it’s still very sheer looking. Lives up to its name of glass because they are very shiny. I did not have any issues with it bubbling up like other colors do for me, so that was nice. It is for the most part scratch resistant even with no top coat on.

And you are right, his super shiny translucent color really is on the sheer side and a different look than the opaque cream colors. For best results, first, apply 1 coat of your favorite essie base coat. Then, apply 2 thin coats of essie Glass Nails nail polish, add a third if needed to reach your desired opacity. Finish your salon-inspired manicure with 1 coat of any essie top coat.

I like that this color is slightly translucent and has a gorgeous shine ! I love Essie nail polishes compared to other brands. They’re longer lasting with a good tip coat, the color is pigment rich without needing more than 2-3 applications, and the brush is a decent size to help get to the edges of the nail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very familiar with Essie’s regular nail polishes and their typical performance, and this one pales in comparison. It requires at least 3 coats to appear somewhat like the bottle, but as a result the thickness of the polish makes it prone to peeling and chipping. If you prefer a light wash of color as opposed to solid color payoff then this would be perfect for you, however that is not the case for me.

Easy application!

Thin and sheer consistency

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prepping your nails prior is important. Smooth, buff and polish prior. Picture holding the bottle is 2 coats. Picture of the hand alone is 3 coats. I’m a nurse and constantly hand washing so my nails are not the greatest. The product was so thin and sheer in consistency. It did not look that great on my nails. Product was easy to remove. Did not chip at work after long hospital shifts.

Fast drying and gel-like shine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this nail polish! It actually dries so fast, which makes it perfect when I’m in a rush. I can apply it just minutes before leaving the house and not worry about smudging. The pigment is great and gives full color in just one swipe. It also gives a really pretty gel like manicure look. Even without using a top coat, it lasted about two weeks on me, which really impressed me.
