TThe BEST nail polish for damaged nails EVER!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best nail polish for dry damaged nails I have ever used!!! I have very damaged nails due to previously using acrylic nails and nail stickers. I’ve used a ton of nail strengthners, some prestige brands, over the years and none have done what this amazing polish does. I. Have. Nails!!! Yes, long, healthy, beautiful nails! I simply reapply this polish every ten days or so, and my nails have stayed looking blissfully healthy and long! And the color is a bonus! Waaay prettier than the basic clear nail strengthened that don’t even work. I will definitely be buying this product again. So so happy with this nail polish!!

        Yes, I recommend this product.

Easy to use and lasts all week

This is my go-to nail polish. I’ve always struggled with painting my own nails. This product makes it foolproof. I work in a conservative environment so the sheer colors in this line are perfect for me. I apply two coats every Sunday night, letting the first coat dry for about 60 seconds before applying the second coat. I let the second coat dry for sixty seconds then spray a quick dry spray on my nails. I do this about an hour before bed after my nighttime beauty routine and as long as I’m careful how I fall sleep, I wake up with perfect nails every Monday morning. Waiting for them to dry right now! Best product out there.

        Yes, I recommend this product.

        Amazing Formula

I picked this up about a week ago after stumbling onto the TLC line. The formula is honestly the best that I have ever found. The first coat applies pretty sheer (even though this is a full cover color), the second coat really evens things out and a third coat really perfects everything. I'm usually the kind of person who uses a base and top coat, but I decided to be lazy the day I applied this and just did the three coats of polish instead. A solid week later and I had not a single chip, just a bit of wear on the tips. Truly an amazing formula - super impressed. The only thing that I would note is that the color is slightly darker on your nails than in the bottle.

        Yes, I recommend this product.

I love "sheers to you". I discovered this Nail care this summer. The bottle is half used now as I tried to only use this product and not any colour nail polish for a while to see if this helps my nails to be healthy. To be honest I put it on in 4 layers because then it has my favorite color - not to clear but still light and sophisticated. But be carefull 4 layers need a long time to dry! Better put 2 and the next day 2 more. And what should I say... These nails in the photo are mine!! I recommend this nail care and one tipp girls. I did semipermanen for years and it completly destroid my nails. I am not even cutting any longer this little nail skin as I realized just with

        My new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a nail polish addict and I have a new favorite! Along with being an addict, I have two little kids at home that don’t allow me a lot of time to do my nails. This new polish from Essie is the answer! Even with one coat (even without a base coat, this gorgeous, neutral Tonal Taupe looks amazing with just the perfect amount of shimmer. My quick, one coat manicure lasted close to two weeks before it started chipping!! I work in healthcare and wash my hands a lot, so for it to go so long and stay gorgeous for so long without chipping is absolutely incredible. This polish is a must-have! I received this beautiful polish free from pinchme.com in exchange for my honest review.

        Yes, I recommend this product.

I use Treat Love Color with Essie Grow Stronger and Treat Love Color Strengthen Sheer as a top coat. My Nails are weak and thin break and split if I do not keep them painted...treated...This combo works for me. Right now my favorite color in this item is mauve-tivation, as it is Summery. Always get compliments...I love Essie Nails...I use my hands...hand wash dishes. Gardening (try to use gloves...but...eh!) and other daily chores. My nails suffer...Essie works people! Have STOPPED using other brands that I thought were OK...because this really works. I have and will continue to recommend this product!

        Yes, I recommend this product.

        Dissapointed

I was excited to try this product as I LOVE the millionails but after multiple tries only to have it fall off in complete sheets from my nails within minutes to hours. It starts to peel from the edge if you hit it on anything and then there it goes. A waist of time to have to remove and reapply multiple times a day. I would say this is definitely a product fail and looking at the other reviews it's not just me. I have made sure my nails are washed and dried as well as used alcohol before hand. Makes no difference. Wish I wouldn't have waisted my money and just bough Millionails. The tried and true.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello Jennifer! Thanks for sharing some personal feedback with us on our gloss fit polish. We make every effort to provide the highest quality products for our consumers and want to know whenever a product does not meet your expectations. One coat of polish takes about 30 to 60 seconds to dry. This is about the time it takes for the average person to paint all of their nails, so once you have painted all your nails, you should be ready to add the next coat. The perfect drying time could vary based on environmental factors like temperature and humidity, so a fan may be helpful in warmer, wetter climates. Although your nails will feel dry after this time, note that your nails are not completely dry for 2-3 hours after painting, so refrain from activities that could smudge your manicure in that time. We hope this helps for future applications and you give this polish another try!

        Terrible

Bought this thinking it would be a pretty sheer pink ish color. Do not waste ur money. I have yet to find one of these “treat love color” shade that actually apply nice. The brushes are inconsistent. Some are wider (which are amazing). Some are so skinny it likes painting ur nails with toothpicks. And the color application is a nightmare. Streaky. Uneven. Nope. I miss the early 2000’s essie. This was my last time buying essie From someone who raved about them for the past 20yrs. Find some consistency. I find it hard to believe at almost $10 a bottle no one checked these polished. And this line

No, I do not recommend this product.

          Nice color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from PinchMe in exchange for my honest opinion. I love Essie, and was excited to receive and test this product. The color is beautiful, I got so many compliments. The application went on smooth and opaque. Only 2 coats needed. As far as it being a treatment.. I just didn't see it. I did not notice my nails getting 'stronger', and the color chipped by day 3. Very disappointing. I have other Essie colors that last longer. Pros: Beautiful Color Smooth Application Cons: Fast chipping(by day3) Did not see any change to strength of nails

          Yes, I recommend this product.

          in a Blush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of essie Treat Love & Color in a blush nail polish from my Pinch-me box. I love the formula of the polish, it stayed on my nails for over seven days without chips and cracks with 3 coats because being a light sheer color. I didn't care for the color to much, it was to light for me. The color is more white than pink which doesn't look good on my real nails. Everyone thought I had fake nails wearing this color polish. I have fair skin and tend to wear pinker or darker colors. But overall I would recommend the essie line of polish it does stay on your nails longer.

          Yes, I recommend this product.

          Exceeded my expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a free sample for my honest opinion. The polish applied smoothly and gave full coverage with 2 coats. With 2 coats it lasted for 5 days with minimal chipping on the tips of my nails. With 3 coats it lasted a full week. This all without using a base or top coat! One of my favorite features is that it has a relatively low odor. It is also one of the easiest polishes to remove that I've ever used. I'm not sure if it healed my nails, but because of the way it wears and removes without damaging, my nails were able to grow to a healthy length without any peeling.

          Yes, I recommend this product.

          Love the color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a sample through Pinchme.com in exchange for an honest review. I did like this polish, and Essie is my usual "go-to" polish line, however, the staying power of Minimally Modest treat love & color was not what I expected. It started to wear off about 2 days into wearing it. Maybe because of the strengthening power mixed with the color. I have had problems when using strengthener under regular polishes, so maybe this is the same type of thing? I will continue to use it, though, as I do like the color, and I do hope that strengthening aspect is helping my nails.

          Yes, I recommend this product.

Fast and easy - vibrant color and coverage

Love this polish. 2 coats is enough for great color intensity, coverage and shine. The color matches the bottle almost perfectly, which is rare. It is a great metallic shade without looking like I was attacked by glitter fairies. The wide brush makes it fast and easy to apply and it goes on smooth. I can't say yet how it holds up, but I'll edit my review if it doesn't hold up like it should. So often I buy nail polish that's beautiful in the bottle, but not on my nails. I've wasted a lot of money on products that don't look good on me or don't look the same as the bottle.

          Yes, I recommend this product.

          Nails were stronger!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free Essie Treat Love & Color “in the balance” from PinchMe for my honest review. I always have my nails painted, so I think sometimes they get died out and brittle, so I was excited to try this line. I wasn’t a fan of this particular color, kind of white/silver, but it wasn’t bad. i really like the fact that’s it’s one step, and you don’t need a base coat. I used about two coats and the color was perfect. My nails lasted about two weeks and seemed stronger than they were before. I’m looking forward to trying this line in additional colors and would recommend!

          Yes, I recommend this product.

          Peels Easily

About a week ago, I bought the gloss fit Treat Live & Color strengthening polish. I prepped my nails and prior to applying the nail polish, I used an alcohol wipe (a little alcohol prep pad) to wipe any oils off my nails. I applied a thin coat, then about 30 minutes later I applied another thin coat. The next day, the polish was peeling off my nails - less than 24 hours later. I tried it again a few days later, and the polish continues to peel off my nails in less than 24 hours. However, I’ll try the polish again and change my nail prep as that could be the reasoning.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hi there Julz! We want to understand what happened just as much as you do. The treat love & color treatment + nailcolor is applied to a clean nail bed and it sounds like this is what you have done. We think a polish remover is the best thing to use to clean the nail bed prior to applying your color. Brought some life back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this color from pinchme to try. I have to say I was pretty happy. I wear fake nails all the time so they are pretty damaged. I didn’t have them on when I tried this and the Essie Treat Love and Color brought some life back to my nails. They became a tad stronger and less brittle. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is bc unfortunately this was not my color. The color itself was pretty but I’m not a sheet kind of girl. If you like the sheer look I def recommend but if you like more opaque I’d go with a different color. But this polish will def help sad nails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Essie Love & Color complimentary of PinchMe last month and I absolutely love it. I love how simple, light and elegant the shade of blush looks on my nails. I the habit of just going for my all time favorite color green and I love the shade offered to me by PinchMe but I decided to try something different this time and I did not regret it. I love this color on my nails and I love knowing it’s making my weak nails stronger with every coat applied. I’ve made it a habit of using it as an under coat or base when I want to apply different color shades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very dry brittle nails that I can not get to grow. I have tried 2 colors in the TLC line and really like both of them. I prefer the light/nude colors as my nails are very short. I do love the subtle hint of color with the slight shimmer, it was perfect for me. When you apply this nail color it helps with the dryness and brittleness as long as the product stays on. Once it chips off or is removed the benefits seem to disappear. I wish it lasted a little longer/was more resilient to chipping as I do not have time to apply nail polish every other day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a free sample of Essie TLC Good Lighting. I loved the color it was perfect shade and it goes with everything. Due to a thyroid condition, I have dry, brittle nails that break all the time. I usually do the no-chip manicure because my nails last 2-3 days with a regular manicure-at home or the salon. This did a good job strengthening my nails but they still chipped just not as fast as normal. I am also active and do not protect my nails as much as I should. I plan to continue using the product to compare it over time. I definitely think it is worth trying!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Essie Treat, Love, & Color #15 Minimally Modest from PinchMe in exchange for my honest opinion. Love the color, is a beautiful sheer pink that when dried looks very natural and my nails look healthy. I gave it 4 stars because it starts to fade after 4 days, I apply it every 7 days. At the beginning my nails look real heallthy, harder and no peeling but after using it for about 3 weeks they are peeling again and are not that strong. I like Essie and will keep buying this nail polish because after it is applied my nails look and feel good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok! I brought my to salon for my manicure. First of all, the color was hideous but for this test I dealt with it On the webpage, I thought I was getting a pale pink not white with a hint of pink! The darn polish WORKS!!! It stayed on for almost two weeks no chips only was wearing away because I use my hands a lot. But I took it a step further because I’m a realist I got a regular manicure with OPI and with no fail in a week clips and my nails were peelings. Kudos Essie! I can’t find your in stores only Target has some of Treat,Love on clearance. Why?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I want to mention that I did receive this product for free from pinch me to review. The first thing I noticed when I applied this nail polish was how pigmented it was I felt that if I wanted to I could get away with just one coat but I did two coats and it turned out beautiful. I also did notice that the nail polish did last longer than my other nail polishes. I didn’t notice any chipping until day 4 when normally by day two my nails are already chipping. As far as making my nails stronger I didn’t see much difference in my nails health.

          Yes, I recommend this product.

          Nails feel stronger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Essie Treat, Love & Color as a free sample from PinchMe. The color I received was much brighter than I wear, and not shown in the current essie color selection, but I did wear it for a week to see how it affected my nails. The color was gallery gal. My nails did feel stronger and were not peeling after the week. The base coat is very pungent, so I do reccommend applying it in a well ventilated area. I will use the rest of this color on my toes, and try a softer color for my nails, as I am very happy with the strength it has given my nails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a free sample and I admit I was not sure it would work. My nails are dry, and they chip and break about every 3 days. When I was offered a chance to try something that could help, I jumped at the chance even though I had my doubts. I trimmed, filed my nails, and added the polish. To my surprise by the end of the week I had no chips or breaks. Just to be sure it was the polish, I went polish free. Then sure enough they started chipping and breaking again. I tried the polish again and to my surprise it worked again. My mother always complain about her nails, so I let her try it. She called me a week later and said it is working for her too. I never thought I would be excited about a nail polish but, to my surprise I am.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try this product through PinchMe and so glad I did. This color , #37 Right Hooked is perfect for any one. Went on well (I did 2 coats) and lasted over a week without chipping. That’s doing daily cleaning and dishes too. I generally use another brand and only clear due to ridges in my nails but after trying this and being blown away by the colors I’m seeing this winter/spring, I was impressed. My nails are messed up, brittle and weak due to chemo but the Essie product helped hide even the ridges in my nails. I was really impressed.

          try it if you swim

I tried it because I thought maybe a breathable polish might survive the water saturation and drying out that comes with swimming. This is the first polish to last a swim without chipping and looking awful. After third swim it didn't look so great, and the shower mostly killed it, but I've never had a polish even survive that long. I'm a special occasion user only because I have natural nails, hate chipped polish, and everything chips when you swim. But I don't think taupe is accurate. Its really more of a sheer rose gold kind of colour.

          Yes, I recommend this product.

          Long Lasting Color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this polish for free in exchange for an honest review. This is a really good polish. The color goes on nice and thick and looks great even after the first coat. For me, polish normally only lasts a few hours without chipping. This lasted almost a week. I was truly impressed. But it doesn't have a nice shiny finish that you'd expect from a nice polish. It's a nice color but with a dull finish. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise. But honestly, that's nothing that a coat of clear can't fix. So I definitely recommend this polish!

          Did not help

I bought this a couple of months ago and continue to try it to no avail. It starts to peel off the same day, leaving the part that needs the help exposed. My nails were okay prior to use because of a different product but I couldn't find that any more so I thought I'd try this one. After the first applicantion my nails started to peel, crack and tear. I have tried it with and without top coat and base coat but nothing seemed to prevent it from coming off almost immediately. Usually love essie but definitely disappointed with this product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Essie nail polish for free from PINCHme in exchange for an honest review. I have weak, brittle nails and this polish completely transformed them. I love that it's an all in one product, no base or top coat needed. It truly does it all, including leaving nails with a beautiful color! Just after a week, my nails were stronger and broke significantly less than before using this nail polish. It surely does what it claims! Plus, this color is a gorgeous beige that goes with everything. I can't wait to try all the other colors!

I have suffered from severe anemia since I was young, and coupled with being a nail-biter, my nails are in rough shape. They are very brittle and dry. Since I'm a SAHM with four kids and a host of chores, I never really take the time to paint my nails because the color chips so easily. I've heard great things about essie products and was excited for the chance to try this out. After just two weeks, I can tell it is already strengthening my flimsy nail. I also like that it is very sheer and doesn't draw attention to my rough fingernails.

Good formulation but color is prone to streaking.

When I took my old nail polish off this week my nails were peeling, which has never happened to me before. I sought out this product after trying 2 different brands “repairing” polish that were pretty terrible. At the store, there were two bottles labeled Minimally Modest but they were noticeably different, even after I shook them. I chose the one that was more pink vs. peach. I applied two coats and it looked pretty at first, but in daylight it’s really streaky. I think the streaks would be filled with three coats but the color would have been too light and opaque for a sheer polish. The formula seems smooth, feels good on my nails, and is long wearing, so I came here looking for another color. I’ll give it one more try and hope for better results.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hi there EvaE1izabeth! We wish you could see the results you were hoping for with the treat love & color shade “minimally modest”. This color should be a sheer gentle powdery pink. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in! I have very weak nails lately, in part because of nursing my now 8month old son, it can have a toll on your body, for me is my Nails and skin. I am in love with Essie TLC line! Before I had to apply Essie's Grow Stronger Base Coat, then two coats of Essie Polish and a top coat (not to mention always use the Peach Cuticle oil) But not anymore!! i've been using it for two months and it is great!! Gave it 4 stars rating because the color is way lighter than the picture. Thanks Essie! I received it for free from Pinchme.

I was blown away by the way this treatment polish worked for me. By wearing it alone for a week, when I took it off it also removed any staining I had from a previous dark polish. It seems to smooth my nails back out after I have aggressively picked off old polish too. I loved that they came out with a larger range of colours tha the first batch of very pale pastels. Now I will use whatever colour I like and apply a full glitter, holo top coat or iridescent pearly colour overtop of this and it creates really fun looks.

Nice Product, Soft, Barely There Shade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was offered a sample from Pinchme, of Essie's Treat, Love, & Color nail polish, in the shade Minimally Modest #15, in exchange for a honest review. I tried this product for two weeks on one hand, so I could compare the results. I feel my nails, on the applied side, were stronger, by the second week. Before use I had some nails that would break at the edges and also bend. I have found this is happening less, probably due to the collagen & camellia extract that is in this polish. I still had a little peeling of polish on the first application, but it wasn't overly much, as compared with other brands. I loved the soft, barely there color. It truly was modest, but left a nice healthy shine to the nail, once dry. Overall, I'm pleased with this product! - Sarah

I've been using the Essie Treat, Love & Color polish for a few weeks and it is an extremely disappointing product. It peels so quickly! I am always very careful to prep my nails thoroughly before applying and I always wear gloves when doing chores around the house, but it still peels within a day or two; there's no reason this should happen. Plus, I haven't noticed any improvement in my nail condition. Luckily I used the clear color so it's not too noticeable because otherwise my nails would look terrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m using it for a month now and my nails doesn’t chip or crack despite of my over worked hands! I’m beyond impressed! I’ve tried many competitors nail strengthening from past and nothing is comparable to Essie. Such a great quality nail polish, plus the nail strengthening all in one bottle is just amazing! Also the apllicator brush was made to perfection, I can do my own mani without the need for cleanups. Very clean applications is such an extra! Thanks to Essie, I’m enjoying my nails more each day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color was pretty, though I feel it was more gray than taupe which wasn't exactly what I hoped for. Pros: Goes on smooth Lasts a good week Cons: After removing the color my nails were peeling and had small cracks in them. They were not in that condition prior to applying the nail polish! So I'm a bit let down seeing as this polish is supposed to prevent those things! I don't know, maybe it was just a weird coincidence?? *I received this product from Pinchme in exchange for my honest review

          Great color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Essie Treat, Love, & Color #15 Minimally Modest from PinchMe.com to try out and review it. First of all, I love the light pink color. It is sheer and perfect for making my nails look natural. I work at a job that dries out my hands and nails making them soft and brittle and I did notice a bit of improvement while using the nail color. However, the color started chipping after 1 day, so definitely not as good as the Essie products I normally wear, However with it being winter and my sample coming on a day that was -2, I am not certain that the temperature didn't play a part in the quality of the polish. I have tried another color when the product first came out and it works well, so I look forward to buying and trying this Essie line again when the weather gets warmer.

          Yes, I recommend this product.
