Great treatment NOT a nail polish!

I’m not sure a lot of the reviewers understand this product. It’s not a nail polish. It’s a treatment designed to improve the nails, so it won’t look shiny or super pigmented!
Wear it as intended - 2 coats on bare nails - and it gives a lovely gentle natural nail finish. Matte and soft pink. It wears well and makes your nails smooth and strong. I think it looks sophisticated as a barely there manicure.

Cute pink colour, dries slightly darker. Didn’t completely cover my imperfections

I really like this Essie good as new ceramide infused nail perfection varnish. The light pink colour is really cute in the bottle, but does dry a bit darker. I’ve put 2 coats on my toenails, which are damaged from too much long-term varnish. I’ve included before pic, a pic after 1 coat and a pic after 2 coats. It dries into a matte finish. It says it covers nail imperfections, but I can still see mine after the 2 coats, so maybe it needs another one. It says it improves nail surface in 1 week, so I guess I’ll see if there’s any improvement after that!

Great product

This is a beautiful nail polish. It goes on so easy . It gives a good covering with just one coat . A lovely pale pink colour great for a wedding or any occasion. A very flattering colour would suit anyone . Would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends.

I'm not a fan of the product

I usually like Essie's products so when I got a notification about this one I got very pleased. It was delivered few days after. I loved the colour, very pretty delicate pink. But when I painted my nails with it... Let's say I wasn't pleased anymore. The consistency is just right and I like it dries very quickly. But the drying time might be pro and con at the same time because quick drying means you have to work quickly. For me it left smudges and probably I'm not used to the product like this but it didn't really even out my nails. I don't like the finish either. It says it's"demi-matte" but it just looks... weird. My overall experience is "meh", I don't even know if it's useful for anything regarding nails.

Worked for me

I bought this to cover up the damage done through a sudden Hema allergy. My nails had to be cut very short and were discoloured black in places. In a word atrocious. This evened out the surface and 2 coats covered the discolouration so that I wasn’t afraid to show them. They have since grown abit and are in much better condition now. I’m very pleased with the result. I agree it doesn’t look like polish but more like your natural nails

Beautiful nail protector and colour. Scent free so is a bonus. Texture is creamy smooth and settles nicely on my nail. Dries quite fast and is exactly same colour of what you see in the bottle. Useful applicator. And lasts up to a week for me.

Nice nails

The Essie nail perfector comes in a white box with all the information on it.
It doesn’t have a strong smell. The texture is quite loose. It goes well onto the nails and needs a few coats. It isn’t sticky and smooths well into the nails.
The colour is very nice and looks lovely.
Such a great make and great product. It goes well with the Essie name.
I will be using it all summer.

Helps with Rough Nail surfaces

This is a great product. I have two toned nails due to poor nutrition but with this Essie product they look quite nice. Since it has matte look so it looks natural. There is no strong scent of nail polish and it stayed more than a week on my nails. Also it really helped with my nail's rough surface to make it even. Loved it

Does make a difference

I have used this a couple of times, and I have noticed a slight difference in my nails. The shade is also a lovely pink, and it does dry pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I found that it chipped very easily and faded after a couple of days.

I did a pic of the before and after and it's not for me, it's may for someone who like to be discreet of polish or who my not allow to have vanish at work.
Not scent for sure and the rest not sure of that.

I really like this product it has really improved my nails. I used to have brittle nails and really uneven surfaces but after the 2 and a half weeks I've been trying that has changed my nails feel stronger have grown a little faster than they usually do. I'm a nail biter and this has helped me refrain from doing it as my nails are improving I'm trying not to damage them again.
I will be using this product regularly. You can place coat on top of coat and you really don't need a lot on each layer as it dries really nicely and quite quickly less than 60 seconds. Will be keeping an eye out for this brand in the future .. I'm impressed

Not much change after two months

I love essie and bought this product a couple of months ago. I apply it on my very uneven nail surfaces twice, take it off after a week and repeat. It feels even, so would be great under nail polish, but still looks completely uneven. The pink seems to be drawing even more attention to the uneven nails, compared to actual bare nails.
In short, it has not made any difference to my uneven, splitting nails, but seem to have made my nails a little stronger.
It says it should improve nails within one week, mine are very uneven, so I would expect it to take longer, but two months in, nothing has changed.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Absolutely love this stuff. I’m not a big fan of nail vanish but. needed something to strengthen my nails. I trapped my finger in a door and my nail hasn’t been right since. This has made it a normal pink colour and it has slowly strengthened it. This is a Matt nail vanish so doesn’t show as much if it’s chipped or ready for a re-coat. I have been using it for a week and can already see a different with my nails. They are growing and strong. They are a normal colour I actually have nice nails for the summer. Highly recommend brilliant

Lovely shade and works effectively

I was kindly gifted this product to test and review as a member of Influenster.
The bottle is glass and has a twist off plastic top which is easy to use and the outer packaging was cardboard. It’s a vegan product and lasts for 24 months from opening.
The formula is infused with a ceramide complex to visually improve the look of uneven and discoloured nails and conceal imperfections.
The colour is a lovely sheer pink with a Demi-matte finish and is streak free.
I applied two coats on clean bare nails and allowed drying time in between each coat which didn’t take long. The scent of the formula wasn’t strong or unpleasant and the formula was thin and spread easily. The product is easy to use and gives the nails a lovely finish and keeps them protected

Brilliant and beautiful natural nail enhancer

This is a great nail treatment varnish. The packaging is cute and allows you to see the full colour of the product. The scent is not too strong, and it doesn’t have a chemical smell either. The varnish paints onto my nails well, and dries in about 60 seconds, providing you don’t use too thick of a layer. I would recommend putting two layers on when applying, wait for it to dry in between! My nails look so much better than the clear see through varnish growth enhancer that I’ve been using.

I found product really easy to use/apply and it did dry very quickly too. I applied two coats as instructed and it left my nails feeling stronger and a lovely shade of light pink. I’m busy as a mum to a 4 year old and I did find that this didn’t last very long maybe 2 days max without chipping although it’s super easy to reapply. The packaging was great and very informative as well. I didn’t think the scent was too strong either. I would recommend this and would purchase in the future!

Trusty nail protector

Essie's Good as New Nail Protector is a great find. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly with a subtle matte. I wasn’t sure about the matte texture at first, but it’s grown on me. It feels different from a glossy finish, but I’m glad to know it's actually helping strengthen my nails. It’s a nice change of pace, and the added protection makes it worth it! Love that it comes in a box, feels more premium.

Essie nail polish is simply great.
It works really well for everyday wear.
It is so natural and gives a delicate matte pink shade.
I apply two layers to bring out a stronger shade.
It dries quickly. Contains ceramides, which, among other things, help improve the nail surface and discoloration.

Nice fast drying, natural colour

This is a nice, subtle colour that almost matches my natural nail colour. The scent isn't as strong as other brands of nail polish, but it is still there. Mine did end up chipping after a day, but I do have quite a physically demanding job, so I'd have been surprised if they lasted. I also really like how fast it dried down, about time I finished on the second hand the first hand was dry

Good for nails health

I've used it for four a couple of days and so far I'm veto pleased with the looks and overall results. When applied the nails look glossy but sin the nail Perfector turns into matte look and this particular has a very much natural look, giving the impression of healthy nails when applied and I've seen my nails condition getting tiny bit better than before the application

I have used essie nail polish in the past and have always been happy happy with the brand compared to some of the cheaper one, you can really tell the difference in quality of the polish and how long it last. as for the essie good as new polish I really liked the colour very natural not too pink, great coverage and will hopefully repair my nails in the long run!!!

Really pretty packaging and also the polish, it is maybe not my colour though. The perfectos strengthens your nails and what I can tell by trying it is that essie is a good brand of nail polish as every one I’ve tried chips away but this one did not at all, it glides on smoothly too and I checked what it’s worth online. I’m would definitely say it’s worth it!

Very nice nail treatment. It has a large, comfortable brush with which we can quickly cover the nail plate. It does not have an unpleasant smell. It leaves a nice, natural pink color on the nails with a semi-matte finish, dries very quickly. I recommend the product to people who want to nourish their nails and at the same time not give up the color on them.

Light pink nail polish with ceramides, which evens out the surface very nicely and strengthens the nails. It has a light consistency and dries very quickly. After a few days I still have no chips, despite cleaning and washing at home. Looks beautiful and takes care of the nails at the same time. Very light scent. Definitely worth everypenny❤️

Loves this product! The little box it came in was very girly and pretty. The smell wasn't 6 overpowering, but you could tell it has been used. It felt nice and smooth after application, and ut seems to last a while between needing to reapply. Great little product for keeping nails healthy and great value for money as well.

This is just fabulous, my nails are in a really poor state at the moment after having gels on for over a year so they definitely need some help to recover, they're naturally weak and take so long to grow but this is making such a big difference already! There's no harsh scent unlike other nail polishes you can get either.

Great base, nice alone too

Nice as a stand alone product but it has a good blurring affect on the nails. However you can’t build layers as it goes instantly streaky.
As a base coat I have noticed my manicures (normal polish not gel) lasting longer than the norm so I would definitely continue to use it as base to even out the nail.

I liked the colour and the packaging of the product. It comes in the box. It’s so natural, no shine. It has a smell of nail paint like a normal one. But doesn’t gives any shine. It’s a great nail perfector, if you have any discolouration it can cover those.

My favourite product at Home nails

I’ve just treated myself to an at home manicure. I honestly love this essay good as new nail perfector it gives me a lovely neutral mat finished to my nails. They feel strong and I also feel like I’m treating them. I’ve put on the cards as advised and this is a lovely blush colour my nails are it looks classy and elegant and my nails look wonderful doesn’t have a chemical smell it almost smells a little floral. Considering the cost of having your nails done, I think this product is also very good value for money. I highly recommend it. I will definitely be buying it again.
