Not a jelly

This is not a jelly nail polish but only a somewhat sheer pink polish. I have true jellies of other established brands so I can easily compare. Jelly polish is supposed to be quite sheer and evenly spreading, so it can be built up in layers like ombre and other styles, creating smooth and streak-free look. Sheerness is key and this one is missing it. It's streaking a lot, doesn't lay evenly and overall not great. While a pretty pink, it's not a jelly but almost opaque even in one layer, so quite disappointing.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Blush Jelly- dries slow and not a good match for my skin tone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I wanted to start with the positives. This is a great nail polish brand. It is easy to apply and i typically only need about two coats and has a shiny finish. It does last a while before it starts chipping. The negatives: -It dries very slow. I do not like sitting in one place too long and so I often create “blemishes” in it which I have to go over again. This would not be a good nail polish to use on kids or impatient adults like myself. - The Blush Jelly did not compliment my skin tone. However, of course what looks good on one person may not compliment the next. Overall, I do like this nail polish.

It’s made to go on in thin, buildable layers to customize your look. Use it alone or with up to 4 coats depending on the look you're going for, or layer over your favorite essie nail enamel for a unique finish!

Beautiful pink

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the ESSIE jelly gloss fingernail polish in the color blush jelly exchange for my open and honest review. The pink is a creamy pink with yellow undertones and a semi translucent finish. It does have a lot of shine to it like the packaging of the product and I did find that once the fingernail polish dried it did have a lot of shine and looked very pretty, I think the size of the product at 13.5 MLS is a perfect size for fingernail polish. Brush is a great size and shape and allows for product to be added equally throughout the nail all in all this is a good brand and a very good fingernail polish.

Essie! Now I want all colors in this collection! Too cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Essie and Influenster for sending me two adorable colours from Jelly Gloss Collection! I’m a spring and summer girl, so pastel colors have always been my go-to, and this two colors are too cute! It is a sheer and plump pink color, just like pink jello. Drying time and chip resistance: I sat there for 10 mins after top coat (i’m using Essie regular top coat - been on my third bottle) after that I took a shower, washed and massaged my hair and came out no chipping at all! Also, the reason that I always choose Essie nail polishes for doing nail at home is the curve of the brush, you know it is hard and messy to paint the other hand, but with Essie brush shape, it was super easy, no mess and no need to clean up the cuticle or the sides.

Super cute colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my best option for adding color and life to my nails at home, saving me money and time on trips to the manicurist, and it's a good quality polish. It dries quickly, I don't need a nail lamp, and the color is bright and solid. The scent isn't as intense compared to other polishes, and the square packaging keeps the bottle from slipping and prevents spills. For the price and quality, I'll now buy other shades of nail polish. It normally lasts 10 days, considering my multiple activities at home.

Wasn’t a fan

(Incentive) I wasn’t a fan of this product I had to use multiple coats just to get any color and by that time it was to thick and tacky looking. I normally wear gel polish but this one wasn’t what I expected. It lasted about a week and a half before ur started chipping. It was runny when I put it on also. I just want a fan of this product and I won’t purchase it again.

Great quality for the price!

I love Essie nailpolishes, I already had variety of colors at home and this one is a great addition since I like natural shades. It lays smoothly on the nail and does not look messy. It has a smell like all nailpolishes do. But it goes away quickly. The nailpolish dries very fast and thats extremely important for me since I have kids and they always need my help.
