So sheer it could almost be a tinted top coat.

As previous reviews from years ago have suggested - it's unclear that this product is sheer when looking at it on the shelf. Disappointed to bring it home and find out that it has next to no colour on the first coat, and very difficult to even notice on a second coat. I'd liken this more to a tinted top coat, than an actual nail colour. First time buying Essie - and I don't often pay for expensive nail polish - so a disappointing discovery and feel like due to the price, there definitely should be better branding regarding things like this.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Does the US have a different version than the UK?

Does anyone in the UK have photos they can share of this product on their own nails? The bottle I currently own (“inside scoop”) is this exact color and I love it. A little sheer but with 2-3 coats, it’s a very nice pale pink (closer to white than to pink). I’m trying to buy (I actually bought) a new bottle in the US and inside scoop is now pepto bismol pink… Truly, the “inside scoop” on the UK Essie website looks completely different than the one advertised on the US Essie site. So disappointing. I’m wondering if the colors in the advertisement photos are off or if the UK just has the original/better version…

Wears wonderfully well

As a mom of three, 4 and under, this polish is a game changer. I was looking for something that would last longer than traditional nail polish without going the route of gel polish. Traditional nail polish lasts about 24 hours for me before chipping occurs. The shape of the bottle makes holding the bottle while polishing a breeze. It will take me some time to master application, but it wasn't awful for a first attempt. The color was not as bright as I anticipated, but the pale, sheer pink makes it easier to pair with a variety of outfits. I did 3 coats, which didn't take terribly long to do, and I did not struggle with it not drying. The finish is beautifully shiny. Can't wait to try out more colors!

amazing application!

I bought this polish earlier this week and its awesome! Not as pink as it looks online, its more pale but I still love it, its amazingly beautiful and I'm very happy with it! It's a lighter colour so a few extra coats is expected, I did 4 because I wanted it to be as beautiful as possible. I'm not much of a nail polish person because I'm too impatient to wait for it to dry but it dried much faster than anything I've ever tried! The shape of the bottle is nice to hold in my left hand but a bit awkward holding it in my right hand. The shape of the brush is absolutely amazing making it easy to paint my nails and not the rest of my finger and cuticles like I normally would, lol. I work in health care and wash my hands often and I'm excited to see how it holds up! I'm so happy I bought this product and look forward to trying many more! I'm never wasting money on a shellac manicure again!!

Finally a blue-toned sheer pink!

I have been waiting so long for Essie to make a blue undertoned sheer pink. this color looks gorgeous on all skin tones! I do feel that it is a must-have because it's not a duplicate to any color that I have in my Essie collection. A great everyday wear-to-work color. Makes your nails look fresh and healthy. Love love!!

Brought in store in superdrug, so was unaware of how sheer this polish is. required 4 coats for it to even be visible. and after these 4 coats, the polish began to peel off. not happy if you bare in mind the price. nothing against essie, but i won’t be purchasing polish this expensive again.

Buyer beware

I bought this shade at a drug store thinking it would be more opaque. I was upset upon trying it out to see that it was a sheer. While the color is fine, it is not what I was looking for. Essie, please come up with a way to know if a color is sheer or opaque before buying in store.

A beautiful subtle pink that makes me smile

I have tried a lot of pink colors and this is the best ever. The color is absolutely beautiful on my hands. My skin has cool undertones and fits me perfectly. The color makes me feel like eating cotton candy on a spring day. Don't ever stop making this color....I beg of you.
