Beautiful shade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t get my nails done professionally and always do it by myself and I enjoy it. Essie is my favorite brand for my nails whether it is for a special occasion or just for self pampering. I have tried so many shades till now and to be honest this is one of my favorite one. This Swoon in the Lagoon is just perfect to make you party ready in one touch. This looks so shiny and it dries really fast. You don’t have to apply multiple layers to brighten the color only one layer is good enough to cover all nails. This is long lasting and doesn’t get off in just one hand wash like some do. I am looking forward to try more beautiful shades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of these shades are very pigmented, and easy to apply; I’m able to complete each nail with 2-3 strokes, as I find Essie brushes to be the perfect size.
The colors are very rich and I only needed one coat for them to look full & finished, even ‘Boatloads of love’ shade (an off-white with a shimmer finish) which surprised me, as usually I need to do 2 coats of white for it to bright! The shades are even more stunning & bright with two coats and don’t chip easily.
The swoon in the lagoon magenta pink is such a fun and playful shade, and it is very well complimented by the ‘Willow in the Wind’ (vibrant green with a cream finish), another stunning tropical shade. Having these nails makes me want to go on a rowboat date!

Swooning over Swoon in the lagoon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was taken back by how pigmented the new expressie polish is! I usually have the use 4+ coats to get the color to show up well but with so many coats it never dries and the texture gets all weird. With these the color shows up in ONE COAT! the angled brush makes painting your own nails much easier. And they dry super fast!!! They are my new favorite!!! The swoon in the lagoon is a deep gorgeous pink color.

Smooth and even coverage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nail polish had super even and level coverage. It was fairly opaque even after just one coat! Removing it was also an absolute breeze. It also had pretty low odor too, which is something that I can be sensitive to. My only complaint was the brush. It is pretty big and while it does help with super quick coverage of the nail, it also makes it pretty easy to get paint on the surrounding skin as well.

Loved the color, but started chipping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I really like the color of this polish. It's fun and flirty, good for any season. The polish is fairly opaque and two coats were sufficient to get good coverage. I wanted to try it out without a top coat to see how well the polish would do after a few days. As you can see in the photo, it started chipping (on multiple nails) after about 3-4 days. This might be typical for any polish without a top coat, but I was hoping it might have better longevity. I also tried other colors in the collection, and Willow in the Wind is a fun green color that had good coverage. However, the Boatloads of Love color, while it was gorgeous in the bottle, didn't cover the nails well, so it was too translucent for my taste. It appeared a bit splotchy, even after 2-3 coats. All the colors went on very smoothly, and came off pretty well without staining my nails, which I always appreciate a lot.

That being said, Swoon in the Lagoon is a beautiful color! The pictures is with two coats of polish and an essie top coat. The color stayed well for 4 days before a few nails chipped. This seems to be the normal for me with polish. And I love to change it up so it isn’t a big deal at all to me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this nail polish! I do not have a tonne of experience painting my nails but this is literally the most user friendly nail polish I have ever used. It went on smooth, had a good amount on the brush but not so much that it was running off. Perfect thickness to just apply smoothly without dripping. And then it dried so quickly! I didn’t have to sit there for half an hour waiting for my finger nails to dry.
It’s got a great sheen to it, applied cleanly and looks great! I’ve always dreaded painting my nails due to how long it takes but these made it a cinch!
I even tried my hand (for the first time) at some ‘decorated/festive’ nails lol. I wouldn’t say they’re phenomenal but that’s more user error than anything. The nail polish stayed where I put it and didn’t run all over.
Overall very pleased with this nail polish and I see myself painting my nails a lot more in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this nail polish and love these colors! I put three coats on to get a good solid color and it looked great! There were some bubbles forming when the polish was applied, but tat may have been user error. I would absolutely recommend a top layer to keep your polish from getting scratched, but overall I would definitely recommend this beautiful nail polish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easily you can apply these coats and how fast they dry! It took about 20 sec and I was done. Amazing!
I paired mine with the shade boat loads of love which looks great together! The lighter shade requires 2 coats while the darker one is fine with just one.
Also love that it is vegan and free of harsh chemicals!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Surprisingly great color with a smooth coverage, if correct amount of nail polish is on the brush. Even without a top coat it does not loose shine. I do feel that without a top coat it feels a bit more tacky which worries me whether it will rub off as I am handling materials or working.

This color is very opaque; I only needed 2 coats. I didn't use a base or top coat and it has barely budged in the 3 days I've had it on. Love it!
