Great for Autumn

I love this color for fall. It's a beautiful shade. I have read a few reviews that mentioned it takes 3 coats to get to opacity. Have patience. I have been an Essie user for years and I have to say I almost like the polish better when it is this consistency when first opened. Once the air hits the open bottle, the polish seems to gain better coverage when you next use it, and it usually ends up that you can use the color all the way to the end of the bottle, rather than using half of it and then having polish so thick it's hard to apply because it's gloppy. Each separate application will become more opaque. Love Essie!

Perfect fall color

I was looking for a different shade to begin the fall season and nothing makes me happier than fall colors. As soon as I saw this color at my nail salon I was instantly drawn to it. Although slightly hesitant because it's unlike so many colors I normally wear, I decided to give it a try. It was just too pretty not to! Orange is also my favorite color. It's almost like a slightly brighter burnt orange and looks perfect on my skin tone. I already got so many compliments and I'm sure I'll be a trendsetter with this one! I am on day 7 of my manicure and I only have one small chip on the corner!!! The best quality! My nails are still shiny and flawless just like the day I got them. Definitely try this nail color!! So happy I decided to play with Playing Koi.

Amazing Color!

I have been purchasing Essie's base and top coat for a year and half now, and finally took the plunge to buy their color. I was not disappointed when I applied this one, as it is the perfect Autumn color! Like several other reviews said, it does take a few coats. I managed to get by with two coats and some touch up for a rich, beautiful rust color. I cannot stop looking at my nails, and I am looking forward to expanding my Essie collection!

Gorgeously shiny and has a gel-like texture (kinda seems between a gel and cream). It took 3 coats to get to opacity (if I had a better hand I could do 2, which would be more gel-like). It it MUCH darker than pictured and even than in the bottle. It's a beautiful dark rust, and is pretty brown. I do wish it were a bit more orangey and painted as pictured. Still a great color, though.

Lovely color for the fall!

Saw this color in an ad and had to get my hands on it! Fell in love with the color! The only downfall was that it took 3 GOOD coats for the color to reach the solid rusty brown color. 1-2 coats left it very streaky. Not sure if it was just my bottle, my application skills, etc. Still an awesome color though. Used essie's first base coat and the gel setter top coat with it :)

this is my absolute fav nail polish colour i've ever owned and im glad its an essie formula even though i find essie polishes always streaky this one is no exception but the colour makes it worth a 3rd and even 4th coat if need be i highly recommend this shade for anyone obsessed with autumn colours like i am!!

This is such a beautiful, unique red color. Super glossy. The formula could use some work. It took 3 coats to get full opacity on some nails depending on my application. Despite that, the polish does smooth out very nicely and becomes nice and glossy. It's definitely become a favorite color of mine!

Beautiful and Long Lasting!

This might be my favorite polish ever! It is the perfect dark, burnt orange color and it just screams fall. Two coats to get that perfect, opaque color and it lasts so long without chipping or peeling. Hands down, one of the best polishes I own!

Love this polish except for the fact that it took three coats. I never have had to use three coats in any other polish. Hope it doesn't make it chip more easily
