This was my first Essie polish. When I was searching for a good silver glitter, every review online listed this one as thethe best of a large lot, and they were right. It makes a nice top coat, or layered on by itself. I never wear it as the only color; it's perfect to accent some of Essie's neons. I find about three coats gets a good bling on. (Colors in pic, counterclockwise from thumb: Set in Stones, I'm Addicted, Vices Versa.)

I love essie, household nail polish name. The one problem I ever have with glitter nailpolish is that its kinda hard to remove. I've tried cottonballs and remover but sometimes it kinda helps to use a base coat to help with tanking it off. I also don't like that its almost six dollars a bottle at my Wal-Mart. I love the color and stay power though. All nail polish chips if you get your hands wet do wear gloves!

I bought this a little while back as a staple glitter nail polish and used it for this wintery glitter ombre paired with Petal Pushers. I keep getting compliments and I feel like my nails are almost too fancy for me when I'm just sitting around the house. I love that it is also a topcoat, but I will probably add a clear topcoat later to keep the glitter from potentially catching on anything.

Funky nail colors are my favorite for parties and going out! They add a little something extra to a fun outfit, and can really pull a look together. This color is great for those trying to bring out their subtle inner rocker chick, or simply for those that are all about that monochrome life. Essie is really smooth and thin, which makes it great for both beginners and building color.

Beautiful top coat

I bought this to help disguise an awful choice I had made when I got my nails done. My nails were done in a navy blue and I just wasn't feeling the color. I thought maybe if I found a silver glitter polish it would dress it up a bit, since I was stuck with that gel manicure for the next two weeks. Perfect choice. It made the navy pop. I went from hating my nails to loving them.

Love the colors essie has, but not really that impressed with the polish itself. I hate the applicator and the polish is just really thick and doesn't go on smooth for me. Again, colors are great, but the application is lacking. Maybe you could thin it out with some polish remover and it would be better? Not sure.

I absolutely love this nail polish by Essie it is great value and it applys super easily and its not clumpy it dries almost in an instant its one of my go to brands I would always buy this again. Highly recommend this to anyone who loves putting on great quality mail varnish. Hope this helps XX

Essie has a lot of color options and I have purchased many polishes over time. It goes on really good however I feel like it does not last very long. My nails chip very fast when I use the Essie brand. The price is comparable to other brands but I rather purchase brands that dont chip as fast.

I never write reviews but I can’t get over how shiny and elegant this polish is. I’m not a fan of glitter but this is not your daughter’s glitter polish! I don’t know how long it will wear, but I have a clear coat over two coats of it and so far, it’s held up with dishes and baths. Love it

Perfect Sparkle

I love using Essie Luxeffects in "Set in Stone" topcoat. Just the right amount of sparkle is added to each nail while helping the color stay on longer. It really make any flat polish pop. I use "Set in Stone" anytime I paint my nails with a plain (not already glittery/shimmery) color.

It was a little bit more translucent than I thought it would be, but still looked very pretty after applying a few coats. Also looked very nice as a top coat over a nude shade. I woild biy it again, even though taking the glitter polishes off can be a pain more times than not.

I love this nail polish because it’s super sparkly and shiny, easy to apply and there’s tones of glitter inside so you don’t have to settle for sparce sparkles. I definitely recommend and will definitely be buying this again when it runs out and also other sparkle colours!

I like that it has texture and it is completely different from any other polish I have found it's quick drying and durable as well as bold and sets a beautiful statement everyone notices when I'm wearing it it does not chip easy or dry up in the bottle quick either

I loveeeee this polish. Perfect for events or NYE, I've used nearly the entire bottle. To apply glitter in a more even, full coverage way, check out the makeup sponge application method (lots of YouTube tutorials will show you how!). Looks amazing every time, A+

fun and sparkly polish alone or with other colors

I got this as a gift but I absolutely love it. The only reason I didn't put 5 is because sometimes, no matter how much I shake it, only little sparkles come out and then big ones on the next nail. The big ones tend to stick to the side of the bottle.

Let's talk about getting it OFF your nails

First of all, it did look great....lots of glitter and bling....BUT removal is a nightmare! It took an hour, half a bottle of remover and I destroyed a brand new nail file. Now my nails are thin and damaged because it was impossible to remove!!!

We suggest trying to soak a cotton ball in nail polish remover and letting it sit on the nail for a few minutes to soften the glitter in the polish. This will help to prevent having to buff too much on the nail. We hope this helps.

I love the essie nail polishes. They are such good quality and the shade range is incredible.
Definitely worth a try if you haven't checked them out yet.

This has a very delightful opal stone look. The right amount of metallic and shimmer. Perfect for a night out w the girls. It is easy to apply because the brush bristles are medium soft. It has the metal ball inside so it doesnt get gooey.

One of my favorite nail polish brands. I love this because i feel like my litter lasts longer than other brands. Easy to use. Drys quick. Its my go to glitter color. I recommend this to anyone who like an accent nail or like to go all out.

This is one of my favorite glitter topcoats. So festive and fun for the holidays. One swipe of the nail polish will be enough for some specks of glitter but use it on a sponge first and then use it on your nails for a more saturated look

This nail color is very pigmented and totally worth the price it is a little more expensive then drug store nail polishes but it is better quality.i love the glitter in this polish , it is perfect for the holidays, i highly recommend it

We love this color and how amazing it looks on our nails. I usually paint all of my nails grey and then add this to my ring finger, I have gotten so many compliments on it! It’s the perfect color for date night or an everyday color!

I have worn this color so much, I won’t even admit how many times I have bought it...lol it’s just a great color that goes with everything. It’s a smooth polish that doesn’t smudge. It’s well worth the price as Essie can be pricey.

This is an ok nail polish, I found the colour didn’t last very long on your nails, but the colour selection is pretty good, and it wasn’t expensive. If you looking for a good nail polish that won’t break the bank, this is good.

Brand is very affordable and can be purchased at most stores. Polish stays on well and comes in a huge variety of colors. Small bottle makes it easy to travel with in case of touch ups. Would definitely recommend

You have to apply several coats to get pay off. Not a fan of having to wait for it to dry. Pretty color though. I use it on top of other colors now. My daughter has taken over it. She likes it with a light pink.

I love Essie! I also love this color of theirs sooo much!! It is quality product at an affordable price!! This is such a good a good quality product that is underrated. I can get Essie at almost any retailer.

This is my favorite color from Essie. It lasts a long time which is good for me because I don't paint my nails that often. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a ball inside to mix the polish.

Beautiful; glossy color; easy to apply in this coats; does get thick over time however can be fixed with nail thinner. Chips easily however: don't expect it to last more than three days even with a base coat

Gorgeous shade for the holidays, especially New Year’s eve. The polish goes on easy, drying time is about the same as other polish products. Th pigment of the polish is amazing. One coat is all you need!!

Love the gunmetal chunky glitter from this polish. It goes great on top of any cool toned base. The formula is not too thick or chunky and you get just the right amount of glitter on the brush each time.

I had this nail polish when I was younger and really enjoyed it. I remover that you only needed about two coats for the polish to look opaque it was awesome! I did not purchase it after I ran out of it.

This polish is easy to layer onto itself and other polishes. However, I think the glitters themselves are a little too big and it makes it difficult to maneuver them in a position that looks cute.

Such a beautiful color. You could use it as a top coat or as a full coverage glitter like I do. It feels like I have little disco balls on my nails! I love it so much, it is my favorite polish.
