Was really excited to try this base coat as normally my nail varnish doesn't last long at all , I loved how the brush was quite thick and realy glided over my nail. I loved how the clear base made my natural nail super shiny and it dried really quick too! After applying a colour nail varnish on top the colour stayed on much longer then usual! I was really pleased with the result and will be recommending this to my family and friends.

I'm so happy,that I got this Base coat. I use it a few times and I can truly say,it's really good. Like the look of the packing,really nice and comfortable brush to use. First time I applied only one coat,and still was alright. But then I decided to apply 2 coats,like it is adviced on the packing. And I can say it's brilliant! It does what it has to do.

This Essie Base Coat is a fairly thin consistently and it goes on easily and It dries quickly I applied two coats of color. Both went on easily with very little streaking on the first coat. Since the base coat dried quickly, it didn't take long for the two coats of color to dry as well. This base seems to have a finish that helps the color layers to adhere and go on easier. I used a different brand of polish for the color and it seemed to react well with the Base coat.
I don't normally use a base coat but I will definitely start using one now it really makes a difference this product is brilliant.

The essie basecoat is great, firstly is has a large brush so gets a good area of the nail meaning I had completed my basecoat on both nails in under 1 minute.
It drys fast too !
The finish product though for me was the best, once I had added a colour over the top, the shine it gave off was so lovely!!

Didn’t budge!!

My essie nail polish didn’t budge for 8 days after using this base coat, now I wouldn’t paint my nails without it. It leaves my nails feeling nourished and healthy. It also strengthens my nails and helps them to grow a little!! Love this product.

Essie nail care is of great innovative quality. It provides a barrier to prevent nails from staining by smoothly bonding the colour to your nails. After using it I felt more feminine & confident showing my beautiful nails. Highly recommended!

I have never really used a base coat before, being naive I never saw the point. Oh how my mind has been changed! Upon the smooth application and wearing my desired colour on top, my nail varnish stayed well and truly in place.I am forever washing up and scrubbing the bathroom/kitchen etc and it took about 4 days to get the tiniest chip in my polish it's mental. Also when I removed the varnish to change colour my nails were still in good shape! I tend to find after wearing varning my nails end up weak and flimsy but this was not the case. I will never ever not wear this base coat again when painting my nails. Also when applying the base coat there wasn't and extremely over bearing odur which is a total plus with 2 autistic children sensitive to smell in the house.

Essie nail care here to stay nail polish base coat

I got this Essie nail care base coat as it was recommended by one of my friends and i must say i was really surprised how good it is the product is very easy to apply before applying the nail polish the base is protecting the nail from discolouration and is keeping nail polish chipping away for longer definitely one of my favourite products which im gonna keep love it recommend to anyone
