My new favorite!

Along with being an addict, I have two little kids at home that don’t allow me a lot of time to do my nails. This new polish from Essie is the answer! Even with one coat (even without a base coat, this gorgeous, neutral Tonal Taupe looks amazing with just the perfect amount of shimmer. My quick, one coat manicure lasted close to two weeks before it started chipping!! I work in healthcare and wash my hands a lot, so for it to go so long and stay gorgeous for so long without chipping is absolutely incredible. This polish is a must-have! I received this beautiful polish free from pinchme.com in exchange for my honest review.

Brought some life back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this color from pinchme to try. I have to say I was pretty happy. I wear fake nails all the time so they are pretty damaged. I didn’t have them on when I tried this and the Essie Treat Love and Color brought some life back to my nails. They became a tad stronger and less brittle. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is bc unfortunately this was not my color. The color itself was pretty but I’m not a sheet kind of girl. If you like the sheer look I def recommend but if you like more opaque I’d go with a different color. But this polish will def help sad nails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a free sample and I admit I was not sure it would work. My nails are dry, and they chip and break about every 3 days. When I was offered a chance to try something that could help, I jumped at the chance even though I had my doubts. I trimmed, filed my nails, and added the polish. To my surprise by the end of the week I had no chips or breaks. Just to be sure it was the polish, I went polish free. Then sure enough they started chipping and breaking again. I tried the polish again and to my surprise it worked again. My mother always complain about her nails, so I let her try it. She called me a week later and said it is working for her too. I never thought I would be excited about a nail polish but, to my surprise I am.

I tried it because I thought maybe a breathable polish might survive the water saturation and drying out that comes with swimming. This is the first polish to last a swim without chipping and looking awful. After third swim it didn't look so great, and the shower mostly killed it, but I've never had a polish even survive that long. I'm a special occasion user only because I have natural nails, hate chipped polish, and everything chips when you swim.
But I don't think taupe is accurate. Its really more of a sheer rose gold kind of colour.

I was sceptical at first since I found it hard to believe any nail polish other than a gel could make my nails look good. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! Not only did they look great but the dry brittle ridged nails I normally have actually looked and felt great after using this product! I received many compliments and requests for the name of the nail polish. Great job Essie with creating a nail polish I will use many times!

I think this actually works

I've always struggled with weak nails (chipping, flaking, everything) and loved Essie products. I'm glad they released something besides base coat or treatment to help improve your nails. I will say that, like other Essie polishes I've used, the color is pretty translucent and I used three coats instead of the recommended two to get the color I wanted. It's lasted a lot better than I was expecting it to without chipping off; only my fingers that take the most wear and tear have chipped about a week to week and a half after application. My nails haven't chipped or flaked at all since application and do appear stronger (maybe that's just placebo effect, but I hope not). If I'm going to paint my nails instead of going to a salon, I'm not sure I'll use any other polish if this continues to work for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a free sample of the Tonal Taupe Essie nail polish to try. My nails constantly split and chip and I haven't been able to keep them until now. It really does stay unchipped for a solid week with normal use. I even worked in the yard outside one day and didn't lose polish. My nails really feel stronger, too. I added fresh touchups after one week and then replaced everything after two weeks. Tonal Taupe is awesome for this long because it's neutral and goes with everything.

Essie Is my all-time favorite brand of nail polish. But tonal taupe Is the most magnificent color Ive ever used. I even bring it with me to the nail salon. I searched high and low for a good neutral nail polish color with a little bit of pop, something that doesnt look like my nails are completely naked, and this is the color right here. Essie doesnt chip and their colors are extremely pigmented. Two coats and youre good to go.

Color wasn't dark enough for me, but if purchasing I would choose a different shade. Did chip a bit after a bit of use over a couple days. I have short nails so could not speak to the claim of about 1/3 rd less breakage. Thanks Essie for letting me try your product. #PinchMe

I love all the products of this company if you allow me to review this product I would be grateful to you . This is best brand of nail paints and they got the best colors. I bought from the outlet and I love using this brand. No other brand can beat Clean & the most classy colors of all brands, I wish to be more thicker & wider brush, more Variates of colors

Although Essie products aren’t the cheapest, they are worth it. This product not only adds a beautiful color to your nails, but also strengthens them at the same time. I would recommend applying a view coats since this color is very light. The brush isn’t the greatest applicator, but it still does its job. Tons of other colors to select as well.

I love the whole Essie strengthening base coat line. I have used probably 4 products from the line, and I have enjoyed each one. My nails instantly feel stronger, and after wearing for a couple weeks I can definitely tell my nails are thicker and more sturdy from this product. I will always use this product when available

Essie Chips, if you do not use a GOOD top coat it comes right off with a flick. I haven't tried the Gel like polish without the UV. I would love to ty something other than their normal polish as it is NOT reliable. I have used Essie in the past and do try to avoid it at the salons due to the history of chipping.

Had already tried TLC in Sheers to You and was very pleased with the fact that it did improve the condition of my nails. Was looking forward to trying a new color and picked Tonal Taupe. I admit, I did not notice that it was a shimmer color. It was just plain unflattering on my nails. I'm tossing it.

I love how neutral& simple this color is. I work in office setting so I dont want to stand out but still want to feel feminine with my nail polish. I bought it randomly & enjoy it. I would buy it again. Very easy to use. Its one of those colors even if you mess up - you cant tell you messed up.

essie will always be one of my favorite nail polish brands. they offer such cute colors, and at such a great quality. although they do take awhile to dry, which is my only downside. the shape of the brush is perfect for getting to the bottom of your nails and i highly recommend this brand.

I love this product it’s so inexpensive and easy to use and apply. It’s not hard to come off and it lasts a long time. It doesn’t chip like a normal no polish is doom. It looks great and if you would like put a layer on top of lawyer because he would like a cuter color. I recommend it.

I bought two essie polishes on my way to work. I like the look of the shade in the bottle and hoped it would translate well onto the nails. I was a bit naughty and did a manicure at my desk. I hadn't much time but it looks perfect, dries amazingly fast and has had a slew of compliments.

Essie is one of my favorite brands of nail polish. The polish lasts longer than most others and if you apply a clear coat every day or so for the first few days, it will last as long or longer than gel. This color is unique. I have already had a lot of compliments on it.

I love this treatment. It made my nails look and feel healthy. It want that bad but I don't like the smell but it works great. The price is just perfect not to pricey you get what you paid. Vie used it a couple of times. I defineltely recommend others to use

It last longer than any other nail polish . I notice it didn't peel after a 2 days and I love that. I receive this as a complimentary.

Only giving stars because of the color swatch. It does not work for me in regards to strengthening my nails. I honestly believe it makes it worse. Haven’t had this much cracking and peeling with any other polish. I’ll stick with the regular formula.

Im not too big of a fan of how small the brush is. But I do like the fact that this special formula protects and strengthen your nails as well as gives a really nice color payout as well. Its very pigmented and only really needs one coat of polish.

This is a really pretty nude color essie is one of my favorite brands and I always use it I am a nail tech and my customers really like it the pros are that he paints really well the cons is I dont think it lasts that long but I would buy it again

I absolutely love this base coat. Definitely one of my favorites for sure. I am a repeat user for this nail polish. I use this before ever application of my essie nail polish. I would highly suggest this to anyone who wants to protect their nails!

Such a pretty taupe nude I use this whenever I’m feeling like I need to add some color to an outfit. This is also me one of my faves when it comes to the natural look that I go for some times. Over all it’s a great product and the smell is fine.

I love how this work but I have to put more than one code I love pink nutral colors and I thing for like 9 bucks it's on the price ir side but I like it and I think it's so worth the price and if your looking for good nail polish gave you one

I mean it’s a pretty nudey color. Has a nice sheen and applies nicely. The price is good and the colors are excellent. I love Essie nail polishes. They have awesome colors and don’t really chip as bad as some other cheap polishes

In LOVE with essie’s nudes! They are so beautiful and pretty!!! I like that this one treats your nails while also leaves them looking beautiful, a nail polish normally doesn’t do that and I like that Essie goes the extra mile

I have really weak and brittle nails, so I was really excited to see that Essie came out with nail polish that nourishes and helps grow your nails. This polish is so pretty and is way better for my nails than regular polish.

I really, really love essie nail polishes. I especially love this base coat. It makes everything look so smooth and nice over top. These polishes are definitely on the pricier side, but I think they're worth the cost.

Essie is the perfect at home nail polish. It doesnt get clumpy and it applies easily. The colors are vibrant and dont bubble. It is a bit pricey but way more affordable than going somewhere. I would reccomend this.

Very good! Love the way my nails feel strong when I have it applied, the only con is the brushes are a bit fiddly but that’s my only concern. It’s easy to use and I would buy many other of the shades in this range.
